Tool Design Product Design at PACCO begins with years of training and experience in the die casting industry. When sample parts, drawings on paper, electronic CAD files or even hand sketches are received from the customer, all facets of producing this part as a die casting are considered. Customer design requirements such as strength, heat transfer, RF shielding, aesthetics, weight, finish, dimensional tolerance requirements, post machining and number of parts required are all looked at. Decisions based on all of these factors that apply are made after discussion and agreement with the customer. Capabilities PACCO is capable of utilizing very simple 2 dimensional drawings or complete CAD models. With the very latest releases of Pro/Engineer we can provide our customers with thorough detail in the design of their tool. CAD Models Pro/Engineer is a drafting/modeling/manufacturing system, and is used by PACCO to produce CAD models and production drawings if required. With this 3D CAD software, we can receive data in a very wide range of translations, including most native formats of Solid Works, Mechanical Desktop, Autodesk Inventor, Unigraphics and Solid Edge. PRO E CAM is a complete CAM solution for 2- through 5-axis milling. Data provided by our customers in the form of a 3D model can be used to create tool paths for any of our CNC machining centers in minutes and with great accuracy. Commitment In the design of the mold to produce the part, PACCO is committed to ensuring that the final product conforms to all customer requirements.
Quality Assurance To many customers, a Quality program is required if not essential to do business in the new millenium. At PACCO we believe this as well. Since 1997, PACCO has been conformed to ISO 9002-87 and then has been upgraded to ISO 9001-2000. Finally in Sept. 2006, we have been audited for ISO TS: 16949 & have been awarded the certificate. Key Benefits PACCO will conform to customer s stated or implied requirements. Registration with QMI provides our customers with an independent assessment of our Quality System by a third party that is recognized around the world. Capabilities The Quality Assurance program at PACCO conforms to the ISO 9001-2000 quality system standard and is applicable at all times, whether or not the ISO 9001-2000 standard is specified in contracts. This Quality Assurance Program establishes PACCO'S capability to supply products that conform to specified requirements and to achieve customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity at all stages from production through to servicing.
Secondary Finishing At PACCO we are committed to providing our customers with a complete and conforming product. Our Secondary finishing department is no exception. We can provide, in-house, on CNC Vertical machining centers, CNC Drilling & Tapping Centers Conventional Automatic and semi-automatic drilling and tapping machines, Trimming, Manual grinding, Vibratory deburring. The trend has been to supply a completely finished part, so we have associated ourselves with several quality conscious subcontractors that supply chemical conversion coatings and paint or powdercoat. Key Benefits - PACCO can provide a complete turn-key product so our customers will only require one supplier. - We can accurately predict and conform to delivery dates. - A completely traceable Quality Plan can be implemented and maintained. Capabilities Our CNC Machining Centers are capable of producing just about any machining requirement with extremely high speed, accuracy, repeatability and a machining envelope of up to 48" x 24" x 24". All of our machines have automatic tool changers, 4th axis capability and FANUC or SIEMENS controls. For high speed machining of small parts, we have machining centers with Automatic Pallet Changers and extremely fast tool changes.. - Simple drilling and tapping can be accomplished with our complete line of drill presses and lead screw tappers. With proper fixturing, even our lead screw tappers are running fully automatic. -To provide a finished product, we also offer trimming, vibratory finishing, tumble blasting with steel shot, manual deburring and grinding.
Die Casting, A Brief Description Die casting is a manufacturing process in which molten metal is injected, under pressure, into a hardened steel die or also called mold. Dies are often water-cooled. Dies are then opened, and the die castings are ejected (many times thousands of parts each day, sometimes only a few hundred). Once the tooling is paid for, die-casting is a very inexpensive aluminum part manufacturing process. Metals: Aluminum die cast alloy ADC 12. Aluminum die cast alloys LM-6. Aluminum die cast alloy LM-24. Zinc die cast alloy Zamak-3 Normal Lead Time: Tooling: Sometimes as little as 4 weeks or as much as 12 weeks. Samples: Usually the week the die is available. Production: Starts usually within two weeks (sometimes less) after approval.
High Pressure Die Casting High Pressure die casting facilities are available. We are having 120 T & 250T Cold chamber High Pressure Die Casting Machines of reputed make. We cast Zinc Alloy & Aluminum Alloy.
Machine Turned Components We have a series of Automatic Sliding Head machines, Traubs & several special purpose machines for the manufacturing of machine turned components. We turn within the diameter range of 2 up to 65 millimeters dimensions that enable the manufacture of thousands of different products. Turned parts in brass, steel, stainless steel or aluminum; machined by means of milling, drilling, threading, punching or gear-cutting just in time. You decide which solution you need. We deliver your quality products in large, medium and small series. We can individually adjust to the design of the parts or subassemblies you require. Especially in the production of customer-specific products, one requires quality management skills that work process-oriented and give the employees reliable quality consciousness. Preventive as well as processaccompanying safety measures are supported through FMEA, FTA, SPC, CAQ and CAD.
