LOGO USAGE 6

Elements Arc Arc The Aviat Networks intersecting arcs represent our technology, guiding presence, vision for the future, and wireless network connections. Logotype Logotype The logotype for Aviat Networks was designed specifically for us. The hand-drawn, modern sans serif characters are simple and clean, with an openness and geometry that make it highly legible. Color variations and assets The Aviat Networks logo is available in 4-color and 1-color. Logo 7

Configurations The Aviat Networks logo is the most immediate representation of our company, our products, and our people. It represents our company in various applications, from the web and ads to brochures, presentations, and signage. For ease of use, we have developed two logo configurations. There is no preferred configuration defined at this time. 8

Clear Space Clear space Clear space is the area surrounding the logo that must be kept free of other graphic elements. The minimum required clear space is defined by the height of the A in Aviat, or height. In the case of the vertical logo only, the clear space is first defined by the height, using the height at the top and bottom. Once the height is established, the width of the clear space is equal to the height. Clear space Clear space is the area surrounding the logo that must be kept free of other graphic elements. The minimum required clear space is defined by the height of the A in Aviat on all sides, as shown. logo clear space logo clear space Height Width = Height 9

Minimum Size We want our corporate logo to stand out, so we ve established minimum sizes. The minimum sizes included here should accommodate most applications. Some promotional applications may require logo usage below minimum size. For these exceptions, please email the Creative Services Group at creativeservices@aviatnet.com logo minimum size logo minimum size (Inches, millimeters, and pixels) Actual Size (Inches, millimeters, and pixels) Actual Size 0.375 9.525 mm 27 px 0.6687 16.986 mm 48 px 10

Assets and File naming The Aviat Networks logo assets are available for print and on-screen applications in CMYK and RGB. We have developed a file naming system that makes it easy to identify our logo assets. The following pages show details of the logo variations and assets. To download the Aviat Networks logo, go to the Aviat Networks intranet. Configuration: vertical/horizontal Version: dimensional/flat Color: 4-color or 1-color Aviat_VD_4C_CMYK_Rev.eps Suffix (file format) Reverse color Color space: CMYK or RGB Note: RGB bitmap files are provided in two sizes (minimum size and large). Filenames include a number before the suffix that indicates pixel width. For example: Aviat_HD_RGB-860.png. The pixel width is 860. Descriptions of logo asset file formats EPS vector files EPS vector files can be reproduced at any size without compromising quality. Colors can be set to CMYK or RGB. CMYK and PMS colors are ideal for working with most illustration and page-layout programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign for print applications. RGB colors are ideal for use in web programs such as Adobe Flash for on-screen applications. RGB vector files can also be used to create RGB bitmap files at any size required. PNG bitmap files PNG RGB bitmap files are ideal for working with programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint and most web programs for on-screen applications. PNG files contain transparency and can be placed on any colored background. PNG files are more diverse than JPEG files, which do not handle transparency. Two sizes are available for use. If other sizes are required, they can be created from the RGB Adobe Illustrator EPS files. They can be opened in Adobe Photoshop and set to any size required. Please see page 23 of these guidelines to learn more about the logo container. Incorrect usage Correct usage Container is derived from the clear space Example 22
