Start Light & build up to darker values with layers & pressure. 3. Shade neatly in the directions of the main outlines. 4. Put paper under your hand to not smear your shading. Today s Objectives: Continue shading your self portrait. Shade smoothly & as realistically as possible. Glazing Closing Question: How does shading affect your self portrait?
