Before making creases, check to make sure that all edges are aligned. The edges of many finished cards, panels and die cuts have been colored with ink. This step is optional, and the directions to ink edges are not included below. For a softer look, ink with a sponge or stylus tool with blender tip. For a bolder effect, ink directly from the pad onto the card. Trim the 12x12 Ivory Cutaparts along the guidelines, and separate the die cut tags. If you do not have an item required to complete the card, simply omit the step or substitute the item.
Set A: 3-1/2x5 Green Cards with 3-1/4x4-3/4 Yellow and 3x4-1/2 Ivory Panels Card #1 Tomato Die Cut: So Proud of You Green Grosgrain Ribbon Pearl Brad Black Flocking August 2010 Arts 'n Crafts Greetings to Go Page 2 of 6 1. Outline the image on the Tomato die cut with a Quickie Glue Pen and rub with black flocking. 2. Thread the ribbon onto the die cut as shown; attach to the Ivory panel and set a brad into the ribbon at the top of the die cut, wrapping ribbon ends around to the back. 3. Nest the Ivory and Yellow panels onto the Green card. Card #2 (4) Black Photo Mounting Corners Post-It Note (for masking) 1. Stamp the WM image onto the Ivory panel with Onyx ink. Stamp the same image onto a Post-It note and cut out the image from the note to make a mask. 2. Place the mask over the stamped image on the panel and stamp the UM script with Onyx ink around the masked image. Sponge Earth ink off the edge of the mask to create a glow around the stamped image. 3. Color the leaf with watercolor pencils and blend with a waterbrush. 4. Attach the Ivory panel to the Yellow panel with black photo mounting corners. Nest the panels onto the Green card. Card #3 Tomato Die Cut: With Sympathy Green Grosgrain Ribbon 1. Stamp the UM sunflower image onto the Ivory panel with Onyx ink. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with a waterbrush. Splatter color onto the panel with the waterbrush. 2. Tie ribbon around the bottom of the die cut and attach to the panel with foam adhesive. Nest the Ivory and Yellow panels onto the Green card.
August 2010 Arts 'n Crafts Greetings to Go Page 3 of 6 Card #4 UM Font (2) Pearl Brads 1. Stamp the UM Dream quote onto the Ivory panel with Onyx ink. Stamp the UM frame image at the bottom of the panel. Stamp Wonderful You within the frame. 2. Create a Post-It Note mask for the frame image (see instructions for Card #2 of Set A) and place over the frame. Sponge Moss ink around the frame and onto the edge of the panel. Stamp the UM leaf image onto theperimeter of the panel with Moss ink. 3. Set two pearl brads on each side of the frame. Layer the Ivory panel onto the Yellow panel with foam adhesive and attach to the Green card. Card #5 Tomato Die Cut: Wishes for an Awesome Birthday (3) Pearl Brads 1. Round the corners of the Ivory panel and attach to the Yellow panel and Green card. 2. Set three pearl brads into the bottom of the Tomato die cut and center onto the Ivory panel. Set B: 4x9-1/4 Blue Cards with 3-1/2x8-3/4 Yellow Panels Card #1 Blue Card with Yellow Panel Tomato Die Cuts: Congratulations and Sunflower Ivory Cutaparts: (2) Decorative Frames Green Grosgrain Ribbon Pearl Brad 1. Attach the pearl brad to the sunflower die cut. 2. Clip the die cuts to the Ivory cutaparts, as shown, and attach to the Yellow panel. 3. Wrap the ribbon around the panel between the cutaparts and tape ends to the back. Attach the panel to the card.
Card #2 August 2010 Arts 'n Crafts Greetings to Go Page 4 of 6 Blue Card with Yellow Panel Ivory Cutaparts: Get, Well Soon, and... and I Mean Soon... Black Flocking 1. Outline the leaf image on the Ivory cutapart with the glue pen and add black flocking. 2. Stamp the Yellow panel with the WM leaf and Earth ink. 3. Attach the three Ivory cutaparts onto the Yellow panel with foam adhesive. Nest the panel onto the card. Card #3 Blue Card with Yellow Panel Ivory Cutaparts: A, Very, Happy Birthday, and Sunflowers (3) Brass Mini Brads Yellow Fiber 1. Using a ruler and black pen, draw a double frame around the perimeter of the panel. 2. Nest the three Ivory cutaparts onto the Yellow panel and attach to the Blue card. 3. Set three mini brads into the sunflower cutapart. Tie the yellow fiber around the right edge and attach to the cutapart with foam adhesive. Card #4 Blue Card with Yellow Panel Tomato Die Cut: Thinking of You Yellow Fiber 1. Stamp the WM image onto the panel with Onyx ink. Use a mask to create depth (see masking instructions for Card #2, Set A). 2. Tie the fiber around the base of the Tomato die cut and attach to the panel. Layer the panel onto the card.

Stamp the UM flower image onto the Yellow panel with Onyx ink. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with a waterbrush. Splatter with color. 2. Attach the die cut to the panel, folding the right edge around to the back of the panel. 3. Tie the ribbon into a bow and attach to the die cut. Layer the panel onto the card. Set C: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Die Cut Tomato Cards with 4x5-1/4 Ivory Panels Card #1 Tomato Card with Ivory Panel WM Thinking of You Stamp Ivory Cutapart: Sunflowers 1. Stamp the UM script image onto the front panel of the Tomato card. Stamp the flower bud onto the card; color with white and orange watercolors. 2. Sandwich the Ivory cutapart between the two die cut frames on the card. 3. Attach the Ivory panel to the inside of the card. Stamp Thinking of You within the die cut opening with Onyx ink. Card #2 Tomato Card with Ivory Panel Ivory Cutapart: Congratulations 1. Temporarily center the Ivory panel onto the die cut Tomato card. Trace the largest die cut frame onto the panel. 2. Using a ruler and craft knife, cut a window into the panel 1/8 larger than the traced frame. 3. Stamp the UM flower image onto the Ivory panel with Onyx ink. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with a waterbrush. Splatter with watercolor. Nest the Ivory panel to the front of the card. 4. Attach the Ivory cutapart to the inside of the card, centered within the die cut window.
Card #3 August 2010 Arts 'n Crafts Greetings to Go Page 6 of 6 Tomato Card with Ivory Panel Ivory Cutapart: Congratulations 1. Stamp the WM image onto the front of the Tomato card with Onyx ink, masking as described in Card #2 of Set A. 2. Sandwich the Ivory cutapart between the die cut windows. A greeting can be stamped onto the back of the Cutapart. 3. Layer the Ivory panel to the inside of the card. Card #4 Tomato Card Ivory Cutaparts: Small Sunflowers and Happy Green Grosgrain Ribbon Card #5 1. Stamp the WM image onto the front of the Tomato panel with Earth ink. Mask the stamped leaves and sponge Earth ink around them to add depth. 2. Attach the cutaparts to the left and right side of the die cut opening. Top with grosgrain bows. 3. Position the Ivory cutapart inside the card within the window opening. Handwrite birthday beneath the die cut opening. Tomato Card with Ivory Panel WM Art is a Craft Stamp 1. Attach Post-it Note masks at an angle on two adjacent corners of the die cut card. Stamp the UM border image onto the card with Onyx ink. 2. Continue rotating the corner masks to stamp the border around the entire die cut frame. 3. Layer the Ivory panel to the inside of the card. Stamp the WM image within the die cut frame. 4. Stamp two additional UM sunflowers within the window. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with a waterbrush.
