Some rare woods* are difficult and expensive to obtain, and may be higher in price. Our "Skinny Midis " use a narrower height whorls to get lighter weights for denser woods; they have the same great spin as our Standard Midis. Finished Premium Midis are $75 each with a standard Birch shaft; $95-100 with a hand-turned shaft. We can suggest a wood to complement or contrast with the whorl of your choice. Most Premium Midis are finished on a by-request basis, so we do not often have finished Premium spindles available outside of our annual fiber festivals.
