01: Start a New Drawing 1 2 3 4 5 Custom Start any drawing to a set scale and paper size. Library Trace over any background PDF, photo or image. Blank Start with a completely blank sheet of trace. Multipage PDF Start with a drawing set or document with up to 100 pages. Maps Start with a satellite image or map.

01: Start a New Drawing 7 Folders Create a new folder. You can organize Projects by placing them inside folders. Folders can also be placed inside folders.

02: Set Your Scale 1 Change Scale Change the scale of drawing and dimensions on drawing tools.

02: Set Your Scale 2 3 4 Relative Scaling If you do not want to enter an exact dimension you can zoom to a relative scale. Confirm by tapping. Input Units and Confirm Set your unit of measurement and dimension. Confirm by tapping. Dimension Scaling Place two points to a known dimension.

03: Set Your Pens 1 Your Set of 7 Pens Each user can create their own set of pens. Select a variety of brush and pen types or keep your pen set with one pen with a variety of pen widths or colors. All pens maintain their properties between drawings and can be changed at any time.

03: Set Your Pens 2 3 Set Line Size and Type Each pen can also have its own size and line type. Create your own set of technical pen sizes to emphasize line weight in your drawings. Select Color and Opacity Each pen can have its own color and specific opacity. Use the opacity slider to change the intensity of the line.

03: Set Your Pens 4 ScalePen As you zoom in and out the pen widths will change automatically to show the optimal pen size for your drawing. Note: your selected pen width will remain highlighted.

Perspective Guide The guide helps you locate where you want to draw lines in perspective. Perspective Assist Use perspective assit to automatically guide your lines towards a vanishing point.

05: Perspective, Ruler, Triangle, Protractor 9 Scaled Ruler Use the ruler to measure and draw straight lines. Note: you can rotate the ruler 90º by tapping. 10 Change Dimensions You can change the scale if dimensions are incorrect on drawing tools.

05: Perspective, Ruler, Triangle, Protractor 11 2 Scaled Triangle Use the adjustable triangle to draw straight lines on all three sides. Note: you can rotate the ruler 90º by tapping. The slider changes the angle of the triangle.

06: Stencils 1 Stencil Libraries Tap stencil to see all the libraries of pre-made stencils. 2 3 Position Stencil Scale and adjust stencil to desired location and size. Fill Use multiple colors or brushes to customize your stencil effects.

06: Stencils 4 Delete and Organize Press and hold any stencil to move its order or move down to delete.

06: Stencils 5 Custom Stencil Tap + to open your camera or photo library. 6 Mirror Horizontal 7 Mirror Vertical 8 Lock Position & Size 9 Lock Rotation 10 Invert Stencil 11 Fill

06: Stencils 12 Make the Stencil Adjust contrast or invert to get the exact detail and stencil you want.

07: Export 1 Export Drawing Tap the Export icon to package your drawing.

07: Export 2 3 Title/Page Number Tap the title and page number to edit. Notes Tap the notes to add a text description. 4 Selected Export Tap the Export toggle to select layers to export.

07: Export 5 6 Page Size/Print Scale Change the size and scale of the exported drawing. Arrange Drawing Tap the drawing to move and layout on paper. Tap outside the paper to set the new location.

07: Export 7 Save and Share Export your drawing as a PDF or image to your library, any cloud storage or share it on social media.

08: Your Projects 1 2 Title Tap Edit and then the title to rename your projects. Tap Done when finished. Delete Tap Edit and then to delete a Project. Tap Done when finished. 3 Arrange Projects Press and hold projects to rearrange.

08: Your Projects 4 Add Folder You can add new Folders to sort your Projects into organized categories. 5 Move Projects Press and hold, then drag Projects to move them into move them into a Folder.

08: Your Projects 6 Edit Multiple Projects Tap to select multiple Projects to Move, Cancel, Copy, Paste, Group, or Delete. 7 Edit Projects Cancel selection, Duplicate, Copy, Paste, Group, or Delete Projects.

08: Your Projects 8 9 Move Projects Back Press and hold, then drag Project to Back to... to move Project to outside Folder. Return to Outside Folder Tap to return to the outside folder.

09: Multipage PDF 1 2 3 4 Multipage View Tap to view all pages. Export Tap to export all pages at once. Edit/Delete Tap Edit and then to delete a page. Tap Done when finished. Arrange Pages Press and hold pages to rearrange.

10: Maps 1 Launch Map Tap this icon to start a Project with a Map.

10: Maps 2 Search Location You can create backgrounds from maps of any location in the world. 3 Map/Satellite You can toggle between map view and satellite view.

10: Maps 4 Select View Pinch to zoom and rotate the map to selected your desired view. Tap the check mark to make the map your background.

11: Perspective Finder AR Mode 1 Launch AR Camera Tap this icon to start a Project with the AR Camera

11: Perspective Finder AR Mode 2 How to set a grid Step 1: Move ipad to register surface. Step 2: After grid appears, swipe your finger to rotate and align grid to camera view. Step 3: Once aligned, tap anywhere on screen to lock the grid. Step 4. Capture the image by pressing the camera button.

11: Perspective Finder AR Mode 3 4 5 Orientation You can adjust the vanishing point of the perspective grid. Intensity You can adjust the color of the perspective grid. Units You can adjust the number of grid lines. Also you can choose between imperial or metric unts.
