Tech Support Instructions for moving power on device Dear Pre-K SPED Teachers: Please read email below sent from Dearta regarding upgrades to the Teach Smart System: I wanted to give you some information regarding the Teach Smart system. I've spoken via email and phone with Sarah (HATCH representative) after the 1/17/14 professional development and her return to the office. She informed me that there is an upgrade in the system from 1.0 to 2.0. However, the 2.0 will only be functional until around the middle of the year as there is a 3.0 version that will be available within the upcoming months. What Sarah has suggested is to wait until the summer to do the update to 3.0 and HATCH will do a refresher training at the beginning of the school year regarding any changes in functionality and operation of the system. There are very few changes from 1.0 to 2.0, mostly increased functionality and searching ability but they are pretty much identical. Neither of the upgrades have a difference with the content. However, the 3.0 will have a different menu system (quicker and more efficient access to activities), some changed icons and a newly created search button. She also recommends that the 2.0 be downloaded prior to the 3.0 in order to make the technical upgrade easier.
