1 There are three main installation processes to get your Smart Standing Desk with AI up and running. 1. Assemble AI Box with your Desk. 2. Install Autonomous Desk application to your phone. 3. Set up AI Box to connect with your phone. 1. ASSEMBLY A B AI BOX 2 sections A & B are used for: A: Putting into the gap between desk s frame and table top B: Matching with B1 holes of table top by 2 M5x16 screws 2 M5x16 Screw in B1 holes POWER ADAPTER WHITE USB HEADER Plug into power adapter MICROPHONE Place on desk BLACK USB HEADER Plug into desk s USB hub RJ25 CONNECTOR Plug into desk s Control Box Note: The black and white USB cables cannot be connected into the USB hub at the same time. Use power adapter to connect white USB header to power source while plugging black USB header to desk s USB hub. If they aren t connected into different power sources, the speaker will make noise all the time. A1 A1 M5x20 Screw B1 B1 A1 : Desk frame B1 : 2 holes for installing 2 M5x16 screws M5x20 Screw Loosen M5x20 screw ( attached the frame to top ) to create gap between table top and A1 frame (around 0.1 inch) Insert A section of AI Box into the gap between A1 frame and table top created from previous step Tighten up the M5x20 screw Fasten 2 M5x16 screws to the B1 holes C B1 Note: The AI Box s speaker should follow C direction (away from desk user)

2 2. INSTALL AUTONOMOUS DESK APP To start using your Smart Standing Desk with AI, please install SmartDesk app into your phone. 1. You can find the app SmartDesk either by: - Going to App Store or Google Play Store, and searching for the Autonomous Desk app, or - Scan QR code to go directly to the SmartDesk App. 2. Install the app to your phone 3. Register your account by inserting your information. 3. SET UP AI BOX 1. Please turn on and wait seconds for your desk to be ready for setup mode. You will hear the notification on the speaker Now in setup mode. Follow the instructions in your Smart-Desk app. 2. Connect your desk to Wifi by following these steps: - For ios :

3 - For Android: 3. Insert your wifi information including name and password to get your desk connected with wifi. 4. Set your default standing and sitting height. Swipe up to go up, swipe down for going down, tap the phone screen to stop. - Sitting icon: default sitting height. - Standing icon: default standing height. - Stop icon: emergency stop. - Clock icon (Reminder): set sitting and standing height levels for specific time. 5. Insert your desk location if required. Now your desk is ready to use. Default screen in SmartDesk application is Control screen.

4 AUTONOMOUS DESK APP MENU 1. Controls: Manage your desk height by swipe up, down or simply tap the phone screen. 2. Training: Include 10-day standing challenge to get you familiar with standing while working. 3. Recipes: Include two set-up interval movements between sitting and standing. 4. Activity: Record your standing time and convert it to the sum of burning calories. 5. My desk: Include your desk information and retrain voice model to make your desk hear you better. 6. My apps: Integrate with other apps for your desk to manage them. 7. Voice control: Including standard commands to control your desk. 8. History: Record all your conversation history. 9. Settings: Other users settings including your information, firmware updates, change default sitting/standing height(*) You will see the stop button on all interfaces for emergency stopping on all activities. (*) For Android users, to change your default sitting/standing height, please go to Controls menu, hold your screen to set new heights. VOICE CONTROL YOUR DESK To use voice commands, follow this: - Call your desk s name Isabella and wait for a single beep. - Say commands to your desk (ex, what time is it?) and expect an answer a moment after two beeps. For more commands, please see in command interface in SmartDesk application. If you want to make your desk understand you better, go to My Desks in App Menu, click on your desk and choose Retrain voice model. Follow the instructions until you hear Finish speaker s adaptation process.

5 RESET YOUR DESK To reset your desk, please call: - AI Box After a beep, please say: - Do factory reset Please confirm the reset by saying Yes, I do. Your desk will restart and return to new set up mode after a while. UPDATES There are two update that will be sent to your phone: - SmartDesk application updates: please update it like normal application. - Firmware (AI Box) update: please go Settings in Menu, click on Firmware upgrade your AI Box when new version is released.
