The club is a member of the Federation of Metal Detector and Archeological Clubs Inc. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of metal detecting as a hobby. No brand or model of metal detector is endorsed by the club. Membership is open to the public with the only requirement being that all members follow the Treasure Hunters Code of Ethics. Some National Hunt News Francis Tracy has volunteered to be our Hunt Chairperson. He will also run the Half Dollar Hunt. Cathy Young will be heading up the concessions. Gilbert Leake will do the Deep Hunt and I will be doing the Night and Ladies Hunts. Gary Young will be putting on the Kids Hunt and ray Yerby has volunteered for the Gold Hunt. Detector Raffle Tickets are ready to be checked out and sold. We need all club members to bring donations for the Main Hunt and the Night Hunt to the meeting. For the Night Hunt I need Bullets, Buttons, Silver Dimes, Junk Jewelry, and misc. Brass Items. For the Main Hunt please bring misc. prize donations. Every club member also needs to come to the hunt site on Saturday April 23rd at 9:30 to help set up and bury the hunt. Don t make a few of your co-members do all of the work. At the April 2nd Old Agency Cemetery Cleanup Audra Tamplin was back this year. Her and Jerry Harrlin sold lots of Detector Raffle Tickets.
