advent calendar Even grown-ups need advent calendars. If you accidentally eat all the treats, the envelopes are easily refilled. No one will need to know. YOU WILL NEED Sticky notes 6 (-inch) bright green 2 (-inch) light green (-inch) bright pink 6 (-inch) red 6 (-inch) bright yellow A marker or pen Small wrapped candy, such as chocolate coins or toffee candy Take one sticky note, place sticky side down, and fold along the dotted line. 2 Still with the sticky side down, fold the corners into the center along the dotted lines. Fold the left first and then the right, and press to stick together. Repeat until you have 2 little envelopes. Number them 2 and stick on the wall. Insert a candy in each one. 2 STICK IT!
geometric tiles This project is very meditative. It is also really versatile, so choose the colors you love best and keep sticking until you want to stop. YOU WILL NEED Sticky notes At least: 2 (-inch) bright orange 2 (-inch) bright yellow 2 (-inch) mustard yellow 2 (-inch) light yellow Ruler Pencil Scissors Place a sticky note in front of you sticky side down. Using a ruler, draw a line diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left corner, and another line from top left to bottom right. 6 cm 2 From where the two lines cross, make a mark cm either side of the center on one of the lines.
CHART octopus I used the inside of a roll of tape, a stick of glue, and a coin to give the circle sizes for the suckers. They don t need to be particularly precise; a bit wobbly gives a better effect. YOU WILL NEED Sticky notes 00 (-inch) turquoise 77 (-inch) neon pink (-inch) red 2 (-inch) yellow Scissors For the tentacles Arrange 22 whole turquoise sticky notes as shown opposite to form the octopus s body. 2. Tentacles 2 Cut 2 turquoise sticky notes along the dotted line shown above. Place the shaded area to one side. Arrange the cut sticky notes to create the thick end of the tentacles as shown opposite. Take the shaded area of the cut turquoise sticky notes and arrange as shown opposite to create the thin end of the tentacles.
For the eyes 5 Cut two yellow sticky notes along the dotted line to create outer eyes. 6 Cut two neon pink sticky notes along the dotted line to create inner eyes. 7 Stick the neon pink circles on top of the yellow circles and arrange as shown to create the octopus s eyes.. Outer eyes 2. Inner eyes
6 Press down flat to form a triangle (the frog s head). Lift the top layer of the left-hand triangle and fold along the dotted line, tucking the side under the triangle. Press flat and repeat on the other side. 5 7 2 Fold upward from the bottom. Fold upward along the dotted lines into the center.
