The following workshops have been devised exclusively for all delegates. Four workshops will be offered during the Convention, of which you will choose TWO. Extra kits for all workshops will be available at the DAG Table at the Doll Show on Saturday 19 th May. Please read the information carefully before choosing which two workshops you would like to do. Please note that you can only book into workshops after you have paid your delegate registration deposit, and have been issued with your delegate number. Once you have chosen your two workshops, email your choices, along with your name and delegate number to Anne Allen on wgallen49@gmail.com If the workshops that you select are booked out, you will be contacted and asked to choose something else. This very appealing miniature sewing room is contained in its own pretty tin. It contains everything the sewer would wish for, such as a sewing machine, an assortment of fabrics, threads and even a book of inspirational craft activities, all contained inside a pretty metal tin. Requirements for this workshop You will be provided with all the items you will need to complete this delightful project. * Sewing kit, including sharp scissors * White and cream thread * Aileen s Tacky Glue * Fabric marking pen * Tweezers * Ballpoint stylus * Small metal ruler These attractive, fully operational miniature parasols make wonderful accessories for your smaller and all bisque dolls. Made from cotton lace, stretched over a golden frame, it is trimmed with edging lace and braid, and finished with a metal ferrule, glass bead handle and silk ribbon tie. You will also assemble a box in which to take your parasol home. 4
Requirements for this workshop So that you are never without your dolly companion, in this workshop you will assemble and dress your own small doll which you can then wear on a chain around your neck on any occasion. Your dolly will be a fashion statement with her double tiered skirt and stylish handbag. This sweet little hat is suitable for a lady doll or bébé. It is made on a buckram base, wired, covered with pellon and silk with silk lining. It is trimmed with lace, braid, silk ribbon and faux flowers. You will be provided with all items to complete the bonnet and a lovely hand turned wooden hat stand on which to display your creation.
