Play Time for 12 Senson Dolls Notions & Fabric Cottons, Calicos or similar weight fabric, 4ct. snap sets, tiny buttons and trim Sewing Directions Romper 1. Sew back sections to the front section at the shoulder seams. 2. Sew lining back sections to the lining front section at the shoulder seams. 3. With right sides together, pin lining to the romper bodice. 4. Sew around neckline, back openings and around the armholes. 5. Clip seams and turn bodice right side out by pulling back sections through at the shoulder. Press 6. Open sides up and sew the under arm seam. 7. Sew center front seam of romper pants. Clip & press seam. 8. With right sides together, sew romper pants side seams. Press open. 9. Fold pants cuff in half right sides out and press. 10. Pin pant cuff to wrong side of pants hem and sew in place. 11. With right sides together pin romper bodice to romper pants matching side seams. There will be a ¼ of addition material on each side. 12. Sew romper bodice pants to romper bodice. 13. Sew romper pants from the crotch to the dot marked on the pattern. 14. With right sides together and cuffs rolled up, sew inseam of pants. 15. Turn romper right side out, turn back openings under ¼ and fit to doll. 16. Finish back opening with snaps. Raglan Jacket 1. Prepare vent in jacket back by pressing the two outer lines and pulling them to the middle solid line. Baste at the neckline, 2. sew shoulder darts. 3. Sew sleeves to jacket back section. Sew sleeves to jacket front sections. 4. Press all seams open. Top stitch if desired. Repeat steps with the lining. 5. Fold sleeve lining edge up ¼ and press. 6. Fold jacket contrast right sides out and press. 7. Pin contrast to sleeve edge and sew in place. 8. Sew jacket together at the underarm seam. 9. Sew lining together at the underarm seam. 10. With right sides together, pin the lining to the jack. 11. Sew around the neckline, down the front openings and the bottom edge. 12. Clip seams and turn jacket right side out through the sleeve opening. 13. Press jacket. 14. Finish with snap closure at the neckline if desired. Sleeveless Dress 1. Right sides together, place dress pieces AA on top of each other and securely pin together along raw outside edges. Using seam lines marked on pattern as a guide, sew along armholes, neckline and center back. Trim curves to 1/8 and clip corners. Using a tube turner or similar tool, turn slip bodice right side out by pulling backs of slip through shoulders. Carefully press finished edges smooth. 2. Right sides together, matching notches sew backs of dress bodice to the front along side raw edges. Finish these seams with an overlock or zig zag stitch. 3. Gather top raw edge of skirt tier bottom CC to a width approx. the same length as the bottom raw edge of skirt tier top BB. Right sides together sew top gathered edge of skirt tier bottom CC to bottom raw edge of skirt tier top BB. Finish this seam with an overlock or zig zag stitch. Also finish bottom and side raw edges of skirt assembly with an overlock or zig zag stitch. 4. Gather top raw edge of top skirt tier BB to a width approx. the same length as bottom raw edge of slip bodice. Right sides together sew top gathered edge of skirt tier BB to bottom raw edge of slip bodice. Note that one edge of the skirt tier will line up exactly with the back center edge of dress bodice while the other end where the notch is, will be wrapped around to create a clean finish. Turn skirt assembly right side out once you ve completed sewing. 5. Right sides together, matching seams and dots, sew center backs of skirt assembly together, stopping at dot. Press seam allowance open. 6. Wrong sides together press bottom raw edge of skirt under approx. 3/8 and hard press. Secure skirt hem by top stitching approx. ¼ from folded edge. 7. Using markings on pattern as a guide, mark and secure 3 snap sets to back opening of dress. www.fletcherpatterncompany.com
