What Has Been Happening? - OSPAR - Risk Based Approach (RBA) RBA - Status Being implemented by all contracting parties Annual report from 2014; complete implementation by 2018 Effectiveness review: every 5 yrs from 2018 Specific Plans Denmark: 14 installations, risk calculation completed by 1 st July 2014 UK: some 100 installations. Assessments to be conducted over the period 2013 2018. The Netherlands: 77 installations. Assessments to be done 20% increments by 2018.

What Has Been Happening? - General NEL: Development of Subsea Water Quality Measurement Technology Up to TRL 5 30-month project Continuation of the previous two NEL JIPs on the subject Partnership: operators, vendors, subsea system provider and NEL Operators: sponsoring / direction Subsea system providers: advise on system packaging, integration marinisation Vendors: technology development, support of testing NEL: testing, liaison with vendors and sponsors and project management Project kicked-off in June 2014 4 sponsors
