Whoever adds the numbers first keeps both cards. The student who ends up with the most cards is the winner. In case of a tie the person who gets the next fact correct gets to keep both cards. A s =1 J s=11 Q s=12 K s=13 *Subtraction War You will need a partner for this game. Use a deck of cards/or number cards to recite answers to subtraction facts. Divide the deck into two equal sets. Each person will flip over a card at the same time. Whoever subtracts the numbers first keeps both cards. The student who ends up with the most cards is the winner. Use a deck of cards to recite products to multiplication facts on 3 s, 4 s, 5 s, 6 s, 7 s or 8 s. Put the whole deck in the middle. Decide on the fact you want to recite. Example 7 s, then as you turn over one card at a time, you will multiply it only by sevens. Whoever recites the fact 1 st is the winner. The student who ends up with the most cards is the winner. In case of a tie the person who gets the next fact correct gets to keep the next card. A s =1 J s=11 Q s=12 K s=13 *Slap Jack You will need a partner for this game. Use a deck of cards/ or the number cards to play this game. The game is like slap jack but you can only slap Prime numbers. Prime numbers are numbers that only have 2 factors one and itself. If it is composite then do not slap it. If someone slaps a composite number then the other person gets the card. The student who ends up with the most cards is the winner. In case of a tie the person who gets the next answer correct gets to keep both cards. A s =1 J s=11 Q s=12 K s=13
