The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) promotes excellence within the catering and events industry by recognizing standards and provides the means for members in all segments of the hospitality industry to differentiate themselves through education, certification and a network of resources. Why NACE? In a world where margins are slimmer and expectations are grander than ever before, catering and event professionals must keep current on trends, produce creative ideas and continually build upon their networks of innovative professionals to remain successful and competitive. How is NACE different? NACE provides the means for catering and events professionals to differentiate themselves, which is vital to success in the hospitality industry. By providing education for all segments of the hospitality industry through the annual conference, the CPCE certification program, online education and local chapter meetings and events, NACE inspires professionals to become engaged and facilitates personal and professional growth. Who can participate in NACE? Anyone can be a member of NACE. There are seven distinct types of membership: Professional, Corporate, Legacy, Non- profit, Partner, Student and Young Professional. Each category has a different annual fee. What is the annual Experience! Conference & Expo hosted by NACE? The Experience! Conference and Expo is the only major conference that serves every professional in the catering and events industry. The conference includes three major segments: the Design Experience, the Culinary Experience and Business/Marketing. It also includes various breakout sessions and panels that discusses core competencies, emerging trends, ideas and techniques.

You are saying Yes but your body language says NO Expertise: Hospitality industry and emerging trends Sales and Marketing Creative Concepts for any event Background Linwood Campbell, CPCE, is the director of catering for the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati. This 29- year hospitality veteran has worked for many industry icons, including Doubletree, Intercontinental, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Hilton and now Caesars Entertainment. He has planned events from 2 to 4,000 people and always ensures that the experience for each person is truly memorable. His engrained approach to customer service has been rewarded by many industry awards and accolades, and is a very engaged leader in the catering and events industry. In addition to his career, Linwood has been a passionate NACE member for more than 18 years and during that time has held many chapter positions, including previous chapter president for the Charlotte, NC Chapter.

Currently, Linwood is the NACE President. Linwood s energetic and personal approach to teaching makes him a constantly sought after presenter and moderator in the field of customer service, brand identity, and events. He has presented at many events for such organizations, including MPI, ISES, NACE, The Special Events, and Catersource.

Bonnie Fedchock, CAE Executive Director Bonnie is available to speak on a variety of topics including: Facilitating personal and professional growth in the hospitality industry Creating a network of resources between professionals with diverse backgrounds Doing more with less in event planning, as well as other industry trends Organizational issues within associations and volunteer management Expertise: Hospitality industry and emerging trends Non- profit organizations Strategic planning Volunteer management Background As NACE s Executive Director, Bonnie Fedchock, CAE, oversees all operations within the association. Bonnie also manages the governance, strategic planning, vision and long- term goals of the association. Bonnie is the primary liaison with the Board of Directors and manages the NACE Foundation. Bonnie has worked in the not- for- profit industry for 30 years, and has served on several boards and committees, including the Executive Management Council and Small Staff Section Council for the American Society of Association Executive (ASAE) and is the current the Chair Elect for the Convention Industry Council (CIC). Prior to joining NACE, Bonnie was the Executive Director for the Society of Wine Educators. She received a Bachelor s degree from the University of Maryland for Government and Politics and completed a minor in German. She also received a Master s degree from University of Maryland for Not- for- Profit Management.

Joe Mahoney, CPCE President Elect Joe is available to speak on a variety of topics including: Facilitating personal and professional growth in the hospitality industry Creating a network of resources between professionals with diverse backgrounds Doing more with less in event planning, as well as other industry trends Organizational issues within associations and volunteer management Expertise: Hospitality industry and emerging trends Non- profit organizations Catering Creative concepts for any event Background: Joe Mahoney became Managing Partner for HospitalityStaff of Orlando in August of 2003 and took sales in the first year from just under one million dollars to over seven million. HospitalityStaff specializes in providing trained, hospitable and well- groomed employees for the Hospitality industry. Joe is an active member of The National Association for Catering and Events, (NACE) having joined in 1999. He has been elected to every position on the local board except Vice- President and also stepped in to serve as Programs Chair in 2009 as well as a return to Treasurer from 2009-2013. Joe served as a Trustee and Secretary for The Foundation of NACE from 2003-2011. He achieved the Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) in 2002. He was voted Caterer of the Year for the Orlando Chapter in 2003 and won the local and national George Zell Spirit of NACE Award in 2005 and was also Co- Chair of the NACE National Contact: Tyler Cameron (215) 279-4938

Joe was elected to the National Board of NACE in 2010 as the Event Professional Representative and served for 2 terms.
