Manasquan River Group of Artists Established 1938 Newsletter M. R. G. A., P. O. Box 614, Manasquan, New Jersey 08736 June 2018 www.mrga38.org President s Message As we enter into the last phase of our fiscal year, and it is now the end of May, April showers have finally arrived to blanket our gardens with June flowers. This will be my last message as your President. Looking back over the years as a member of MRGA, I volunteered as our Historian, was elected as Recording Secretary, then as Vice-President, then as President from July 2005- June 2010. In September 2015, I was asked to become Interim President due to the resignation of the current officer. I was then elected as President for July 2016-June 2018. It s been a total of eight years that I have served as your leader. Being a member has been a rewarding experience for me: meeting new people, making many friends, working with the Executive Board, the Board of Trustees, the Chairpersons of our shows, programs, and committees. I will continue to support the ideals of MRGA, and help to ensure a smooth transition as our new President, Bob Stetz, begins his term on July 1st. I want to offer my sincere Thanks to everyone who has volunteered and/or helped in any capacity during my tenure. It s been a pleasure! Artfully yours, Joanne Pisapia President jpisapia@dianeturton.com Please visit the website for MRGA www.mrga38.org Our website is being updated regularly by Sheila Soyster.
