EIVREVO IUGELY TS ETA ROPROC CORPORATE 1.1 INTRODUCTION Running activities are growing at a rapid rate and as the number of activities increase, so too does the demands of the runners. Every runner has a reason for participating in races and holds certain expectations on the level of quality and safety wherever and whenever they intend to take part in a public race. Every race organiser has the intention to organise their race in the most secure way possible for the runners and the spectators whilst maintaining the quality in order to attract a large number of participants. Until now there are only a limited number of regulations that exist in some European countries. Where examples of best practice exist, the experience cannot be considered Europe wide and is not understood by all. European Athletics has therefore developed a quality road race system for public road races that have been developed by the consultation and integration of different experts within the running movement. European Athletics together with the different stakeholders are responsible for setting the standards to ensure the necessary legitimacy and credibility. 20 4 NO DTNOI R1T.1NI NOIIT TCC UDU OR llabes ab 51-U CSBW eht fo y titnedi lausiv eht ruoloc dna evolg llabes ab a serutaef puc dlrow s rebmem 241 s CSBW tneserper taht tellap e p o r ue, s a c i r e m A e h t, a i s A, a c i r f A s s o r c a. a i n a ec O d n a etihw cinoci eht si evolg eht fo ertnec eht ta y l n o t o n h c i h w, s e h c t i t s d e r h t i w ll a b e s a b rehtegot sgnirb tub, dlrow llabes ab eht setinu tneserper ot s reyalp gnuoy tseb s dlrow eht f o e l t i t e h t r o f e t e p m oc d n a s e i r t n u oc r i e h t.noipmahc dlrow :melbme l aici f f O eh t fo s tn ai r a v 2 e r a e reh T ) e t a d t n e m a n r u o t t u o h t i w( C I R E N E G 1 )etad tnemanruot tuohtiw( ETAD 2 resu siht fo noitces tsrif eht fo esoprup eht rof sah melbme laiciffo cireneg eht ylno ediug eht fo lla tub.tuohguorht desu neeb.stnairav lla ot ylppa selpicnirp This Logo Style Guide sets out our basic rules as to how the Running for all logos and quality road race stamp should be used.
