PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS HZ101 system for concealed cistern consists of : Hygizone Flush -Saddle - fits onto a 55mm round flushpipe. Hygizone Duct -Spigot - fits onto flat sheet metal extraction ducting. 4m flexible Hygihose - connects Flush -Saddle to Duct -Spigot. All Connectors & Fasteners - pop rivets, cable ties & easy hold wall plugs. H121 system for low level cistern consists of : Hygizone Flush -Saddle - fits onto a 44mm round flushpipe. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS VISUAL CHECKS Read this entire instruction sheet to ensure proper installation. Compliance and conformity to local building codes and ordinances is the responsibility of the installer. For this reason, these instructions should be left on maintenance manager. 1. Make sure Concealed Cistern has been installed & is properly secured to the wall. 2. Work out the most suitable route to run the Hygihose, from the cistern flushpipe to the duct. -site with the facility or! 3. Visually make sure the Hygizone Flush -Saddle is the correct size & will fit onto the flushpipe of the Concealed Cistern. (On certain models the flushpipe is too short or is oval in shape. The HZ101 work on these models.) Flush -Saddle will not 4. Some Concealed Cisterns have a steel frame (refer to image) that restricts one from drilling from the side, therefore an angled chuck may be required to enable access. 3
FLUSH SADDLE INSTALLATION 1. When drilling the hole, it is important to ensure the hole is centralised on the flushpipe, and that the waste core does not fall into the flush pipe. 2. Ensure the hole is clear of any debris and free of burrs. 3. When fitting the Hygizone Flush -Saddle ensure the arrow on the Flush -Saddle is facing up. (It is slightly angled so as to allow excess water to run back into the flushpipe.) 4. Fit the Hygizone Flush -Saddle securely into place. (Ensure that the seal area is clean and free of any dirt or grit.) 5. Fasten Hygizone Flush -Saddle with the Inner-Clamp and large cables tie supplied. 4
HYGIHOSE INSTALLATION 1. Route the Hygihose from the Flushpipe to the specified duct, ensuring the end of the Hygihose with the fixed flush connector is routed to the Flush - Saddle. 2. Clip the Hygihose Flush -Connector into the Hygizone Flush -Saddle. 3. Fasten the Hygihose using the easy hold wall fasteners supplied. Install the easy hold fasteners using a 6/7mm masonry bit. (Ensure the Hygihose is angled upwards so as to prevent forming any water traps) 4. Clip the Hygihose Flush -Connector onto the Hygizone Flush -Saddle. Make sure both sides are free of dirt & grit. DUCT CONNECTION 1. Drill a 50mm hole in the specified duct. (Note: The Hygizone Duct -Spigot works on square ducting only.) 2. Ensure Duct-Spigot is correctly aligned over the hole and in such a way that both the flow balance damper and the extract air test points are accessible. 3. Install the Duct-Spigot by drilling the 3 holes required using a 4mm steel drill bit and secure using pop-rivets supplied. 5
DUCT CONNECTION CONTINUED 4. Ensure butterfly valve in Duct-Spigot is fully open. 5. Size the Hygihose to the Hygizone Duct -Spigot and cut to the required length. 6. Fit the Hygizone Duct -Connector to the Hygihose using the large cable tie supplied (Make sure the hose is pushed in as deep as possible and that the cable tie is pulled tight). 7. Clip the Hygizone Duct -Connector onto the Hygizone Duct -Spigot. 6
