3 SYSTEM 1224 Inspired by the exposed elegance and structural simplicity of the International Style, System 1224 builds off the movement which dominated Western architecture in the mid-20th century. Rectilinear forms, repeating modularity, with light, taut, planar surfaces devoid of applied ornamentation define System With an honest approach to materials and a pared-down choice of components, System 1224 can adapt to any interior, aesthetic, or type of merchandise. Timelessness and adjustability are at the core of the system, and usability is inherent in its disciplined design. Any component can be removed and replaced from the front of the system, singularly, and without tools. This gives the user the opportunity to quickly grow and change a project with seasons, moods, and styles of the moment. Just as the great modernist architects of the last century designed buildings with implicit functionality and simplicity, System 1224 is a classic solution for the functional interiors of this century. 16 THE CABINETS AND SHELVES All Cabinets, Drawer Cabinets, and Shelves are steel. They slip directly in and hook over the Upright Pins. THE HANGING ACCESSORIES Faceouts and Hangbars slip around the fin of the Upright and lock into the Upright Pins. End Cap Upright Upright Upright End Cap THE ESSENTIALS The essential components to create your wall are simple: Uprights with Pins are aluminum T bars that you attach to the wall with screws (not included). The single fin of the T comes with Pins pre-installed, which are the attachment points for accessories. To finish the sides, End Caps clip directly onto the Pins. HOW IT WORKS THE PANELS Panels come in various materials and finishes, and can accommodate graphics (see page 39). The top and middle panels come with Hooks on the bottom, and Spring Clips on the top to hold Panels securely in place on the Pins. The bottom panels come with all Spring Clips. Each Panel can be changed, moved around the wall, and switched out from the front, without removing any other Panels. All Panels are shipped with the Crossbars attached in the proper configuration for top panels (A), middle panels (B), and bottom panels (C). A B C WIRE MANAGEMENT All Uprights have three wire chase holes: on the top, middle and bottom. Electrical for the LED Panels can run behind the panels and exit from the side. Shown on the bottom, Metal Cabinets with metal or wood doors are perfect for back stock as well as a display surface. The Metal Drawer Cabinets can have a metal or wood drawer face. Singularly, they make an elegant horizontal statement. Used stacked, they are useful for capacity storage. All Hangbars can be extended with 24" Right or Left Extension Hangbar. They can be used for front-hanging merchandise, or as shown, with Clear Glass Shelves using Shelf Brackets for Glass Shelves. Customer is responsible to arrange and pay for International freight, as quotes are for transportation only. Freight quotes provided by B&N do not include the broker, customs duties, fees or taxes. That is the responsibility of the customer to obtain and pay directly to the source. Broker information must be provided prior to shipping. 5. Weights and measurements may change due to changes in suppliers and/or packaging. 6. B&N is unable to guarantee delivery times or dates. Delivery times and dates are the responsibility of the shipping agent. 7. Regarding split shipments: On occasion, an order may ship from multiple locations based on availability. PRODUCT DISCREPANCIES AND DAMAGES VIA SHIPMENT 1. Customer must inspect items upon delivery for damage or discrepancy. 2. B&N accepts no liability for damage incurred during shipping. Any damage found at time of delivery must be noted by customer on delivery receipt and signed/initialed by driver. Customer is to retain all packaging with damaged items for an on-site inspection by carrier. 3. For damage on 3rd party or collect shipments, the customer is responsible for filing the claim with the carrier for financial reimbursement. 4. If any product arrives in damaged condition, a freight claim must be filed with the delivering carrier. Retain packing material and note on the Bill of Lading DAMAGED. Our Customer Service Department will assist you with any questions regarding filing a freight claim. 5. All claims regarding shortages and freight damages must be presented WITHIN 7 DAYS of receiving the shipment. PAYMENT METHODS AND TERMS 1. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS. 2. Payment is due in full prior to shipping of product for all PREPAID ACCOUNTS. We do not ship COD. For payments made by check or bank transfer, the order will be processed upon receipt and approval of check or receipt of funds. 3. Consideration for establishing terms requires a minimum order amount of $5, Approved repeat customers may qualify for NET 15 day terms. A credit application must be completed with the necessary references. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
