4 Holesaws - HSS Bi Metal Sutton holesaws are made to an international standard and can be used either by hand in a power tool or by machine. The unique varied pitched cutting teeth are heat treated high speed steel and are suited to cut metal, wood and plastics. The high carbon steel body is electron beam welded to a HSS tooth strip with high performance and fast drilling varied pitch teeth. Suitable for use in drill stands and hand-held drills, these holesaws are ideal for electricians, plumbers and heating installers, for metal workshops; for machine, container and bodywork manufacturing companies. The varied pitched teeth are effective for drilling in alloyed and non-alloyed aluminium, non-ferrous steel and stainless steel using appropriate lubricant. Also for working in cast steel and malleable cast iron, bronze, copper, PVC, acrylic and wood. Cutting depends on the correct speed as well as coolant being used. If the correct speed is not used to cut these various materials, a short holesaw life can result. Please check for the correct speed to suit the material being cut.
