Introduction 1) Structure of laminate flooring Laminate flooring constitutes of a family of products in its own right. The products presented and described in this document are those featured in the ALSAFLOOR 2016 general catalogue. The planks of laminate flooring in the SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR, CLIP 300 and MEDINA tiles ranges are made up of a number of films (overlay, decor, balancer) which are polymerised under pressure and by heating, directly onto the core, which is either a high-density chipboard or a high-density fibre board (H.D.F.). Overlay Decor High-density fibre board HDF Balancer The conditions for laying ALSAPAN FLOORING laminate flooring as a floating floor and advice on cleaning and care are given on the back of each inlay. 2) Pallet conditioning 4

Class of use ALSAPAN FLOORING laminate flooring products are designed for a range of uses. Each product is classified in accordance with the EN standard and, for certain products, the UPEC classification. The UPEC classification indicates whether a flooring product is suitable for a certain kind of room and is based on the following criteria: U indicates trampling wear P stands for punching and indicates the mechanical stress the floor is expected to be subjected to, such as pressure from furniture (mobile or fixed) or objects falling on the floor. E = the flooring s resistance resistance to chemical and staining substances s C = resistance to water and humidity The UPEC classification sets out to provide a reliable indicator of how well a flooring cover will be able to keep its original properties, without serious deterioration and with only a gradual change over time from its initial appearance, under conditions of use as defined by the purpose of the rooms. This table shows the symbols used in the classification. Domestic Business Light Normal Heavy All our laminate flooring is classified as suitable for heavy domestic use (class 23) 5

Alsapan Flooring products Service class based on the EN standard Domestic use Business use Heavy domestic use Normal business use Class 23 Class 32 CLIP 300 VISUAL CLIP 400 OSMOZE DCLIC AQUASTAR SOLID MEDIUM SOLID PLUS SOLID FORTE MEDINA SOLID CHIC Heavy domestic use Class 23 Heavy business use Class 33 While laminate flooring should be chosen according to the conditions of use, its useful life can be maximised by following a few simple guidelines - The flooring should be cleaned and maintained in accordance with the intensity and conditions of use - A protective mat should be put down to protect against dust, abrasive elements, dirt and humidity which might be brought in from outside. The mat should itself be regularly brushed clean. - The flooring must be laid in accordance with the requirements and recommendations given below. 6

Laying instructions for Floating Floor Our laminate flooring complies with the EN standard. The guarantee applies to scrupulous adherence to the advice for laying the products and to statutory requirements in force (eg Unified Technical Documents (DTU), Technical Sheets (Avis Technique)). The ALSAPLUS, ALSAPROTECT, ALSAMOUSSE, ALSAMOUSSALU, ALSACOUSTIC, DENSIFOAM, FLOORISOL, CONFORLAY and ALSALIN underlays form an integral part of these tried and tested systems. The SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR, CLIP 300 and MEDINA laminate floorings are for a floating floor installation in dry, indoor locations. They must not be screwed, pined or glued on the floor. Don t screw cupboards on laminate flooring. 1) Preparation of the sub-floor Possible sub-floors The following types of sub-floor are suitable for installation: - concrete or screeding, with or without radiant heating; - self-levelling anhydrite sub-floor, with or without radiant heating; - wood floors or floors comprising wood-based panels (DTU 51.3). The specific particulars for preparing sub-floors may be complemented in detail by application of the following Unified Technical Documents (DTU): - NF DTU 21: Carrying out concrete work - NF DTU 26-2: Concrete and screeding with a water-based binder - NF DTU 51-11: Floating parquet flooring - NF DTU 51-3: Floors of wood or wood-based panels - NF DTU 65-8: Heated floors (hot water) - NF DTU 65-7: Heated floor with electrical system The entire text of DTU can be downloaded on the CSTB website Sub-floor flatness These above sub-floors must be flat, such that a 2-metre rule placed on any part of the floor should not reveal any bumps or dents in excess of 5 mm. If this check reveals that the sub-floor is not sufficiently flat, either locally or generally, or sufficiently smooth, rigid or hard, it may be necessary to carry out the following operations on wood floors or floors comprising wood-based panels: - flattening boards of flooring, planks and panels by screwing them down; - sanding the joints between panels; - sanding the nail heads. Sub-floor humidity level The sub-floor must not be likely to expose the flooring laid to any rising damp of any kind. Check the humidity level of the sub-floor; this should not exceed 4,5% (at 4cm depth). In any case (including heated floor), an underlay should be laid down under the laminate flooring to avoid any rising damp. 7

2) Storage and laying instructions. At least 48 hours before laying the floor, place the packs, closed and not directly on the existing floor, in the room to be fitted, which should be at a temperature of between 15 C and 30 C and a relative humidity level of between 65 and 75% RH to be maintained at least 3 days after laying. Remove any existing skirting boards. Place one board on the underlay(s) selected, against the door and lintel. Trim to new level of floor if necessary. Clean the sub-floor before laying the underlay(s), taking care to leave extra PE film all round up the walls. 3) Laying Plank checking Check each board carefully before and during laying. Faulty boards (visual defects), if any, should be rejected. Choice of underlay The SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR, CLIP 300 and MEDINA laminate floorings should be used with the following underlays: - to limit any possible residual rising damp, these sub-floors should be covered by a 150µ sheet of ALSAPROTECT film, with the strips overlapping by 20 cm, and leaving 3-5cm extra PE film all around the walls. When in the presence of a wooden sub-floor it is advised to check if there is a proper and sufficient ventilation beneath (ie cellar, cavity, etc.). It must be prepared using appropriate smoothing products according to the nature of the subfloor, using them in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. - for greater comfort when walking on the flooring and to level roughness of the sub-floor, we advise using the ALSAMOUSSE underlay in conjunction with the ALSAPROTECT film. ALSAPLUS is a combination from the 2 underlays. The DENSIFOAM underlay offers a high resistance to compression. Finally, ALSAMOUSSALU, is an underlay added with an aluminium protection of 20 µ destinated to the laying in humid rooms. Both an underlay with a noise reduction index of 19 db and an ALSAPROTECT film must be fitted, in order to meet the acoustic insulation requirements for multifamily buildings, as set out by the NRA. The FLOORISOL wood-fibre tile underlay offers an environmentally-friendly soundproofing solution. ALSALIN is a 100% natural, environmentally-friendly flax-fibre underlay which will reduce impact noises in rooms on the floor below. CONFORLAY is a very thin (1.8 mm), 100% natural underlay which reduces impact and airborne noise. Important: ALSACOUSTIC and FLOORISOL are compatible with sub-floor heating but disadvised because of their thickness and density. General points The length of the boards should be parralel to the main source of light, tongue side along the wall. Calculate the number of boards necessary lengthways and widthways. When cutting the boards, check that they are at least 30 cm long and at least 5 cm wide. The boards are laid so that the joints (width) are staggered by at least 30 cm. Each new row may be started using the leftover piece of the previous row, as long as the minimal dimensions given above are respected. 8

It is essential to have an expansion gap of 8-10 mm between the boards and walls, doorways, piping, etc. This space should be adjusted with wedges. It is necessary to include expansion gaps in doorways or passageways, and for floors: - exceeding 12 metres in length or 8 metres in width (for thickness of 7 and 8 mm) - exceeding 12 metres in length or 12 metres in width (for thickness of 12). Use a finishing profile to fill in the expansion gap. 4) Laying instructions with the A clip system. These laying instructions are only applicable for the ranges MEDINA, and CLIP 300. Tools : - 1 pencil metre aluminium ruler - 1 laying kit (made up of 20 or 40 spacers + 1 crowbar + 1 hammering block) - 1 hammer - 1 jigsaw, with fine serration - 1 drill, for the passage of rounded obstacles (diameter < 20mm) through the laminate flooring - 1 cutter, to cut off underlays - 1 sellotape for underlays The CLIP principle This is a glueless laying system where the bottom lip of grooves along the boards is used as a guide. It is preferable to lay the boards from left to right, with the tongue facing the wall. Position each new board so that the tongue rests on the groove of the previous board, angle the board to engage the tongue in the groove, then press forward and downward. To clip flat, position the board as before then engage it by gently tapping gradually along the length of the board using the exclusive tapping block (included in our installation kit). Assembling the boards - Place the first board a few centimetres away from the starting wall and against the wedges along the left-hand wall. Lay down the first row tapping gradually each board using the tapping block. - Start the second row using the leftover of the first row, fit it up against the shims on the left-hand wall and clip it onto the first board. The leftover board has to measure more than 30 cm wide. - Clip the third board onto the first row. Fit it onto the second board by tapping it gradually using the tapping block. - Complete each row alternately with full-length boards and the leftover board. If necessary, shift the outline of the starting wall to include the extra width needed to prevent the last board being too narrow. Take apart, and cut the boards for the first row to size. - Fit each end board using the lever, and put wedges in place. Continue laying as described above. - For the final row, place the last boards on the last row but one and trace the outline of the wall on the boards with the help of an offcut. Trim to the outline, including the width of the wedges. Once the boards are all laid, remove the wedges, fix the skirting boards and furnish the room. 9

5) Laying instructions with the Zip n go system. These laying instructions are only applicable for the ranges SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR. Tools : - 1 pencil metre aluminium ruler - 20 spacers - 1 jigsaw, with fine serration - 1 drill, for the passage of rounded obstacles (diameter < 20mm) through the laminate flooring - 1 cutter, to cut off underlays - 1 sellotape for unerlays The CLIP principle This is a glueless laying system where the bottom lip of grooves along the boards is used as a guide. It is preferable to lay the boards from left to right, with the tongue facing the wall. Position each new board so that the tongue rests on the groove of the previous board, angle the board to engage the tongue in the groove, slide the board to the left (both short sides are now face to face). Then, pull out the tongue, it should slide out easily. Keep the tongues for possible further use. Beware of the opening side of the boxes. Assembling the boards - Place the first board a few centimetres (8-10 mm) away from the starting wall and against the wedges along the left-hand wall. To lay down the first 2 planks, click the short sides together and then remove the tongue. 11

- Start the second row using the leftover of the first row, fit it up against the shims on the left-hand wall and clip it onto the first board. The leftover board has to measure more than 30 cm wide. - Clip the third board onto the first row. Fit it onto the second board by removing the tongue from the short side. - Complete each row alternately with full-length boards and the leftover board. If necessary, shift the outline of the starting wall to include the extra width needed to prevent the last board being too narrow. Take apart, and cut the boards for the first row to size. - Continue to lay as described above. Remove a plank. To remove a plank, if necessary, the range already laid down should be pull out. Then, the planks should be slide flat to unblock the short sides : 12

Repositionning planks: 1. Pull out the tongue with no tab = 2. Press the tongue with the tab into the left-hand plank. Check the illustration to be sure of the direction. The tab needs to protrude from the plank by about 1cm. = 3. Next, press the tongue without the tab into the same groove. Check the illustration to be sure of the direction. The tongue must not protrude from the plank = 4. continue installation Laying the final row : For the final row, place the last boards on the last row but one and trace the outline of the wall on the boards with the help of an offcut. Trim to the outline, including the width of the wedges. 1. pull the two tongues out of the plank. 2. cut the plank to the appropriate dimension. 3. using a Stanley knife, cut the tongue without the tab. 4. reposition the tongues following the steps above. 5. continue installation. Once the boards are all laid, remove the wedges, fix the skirting boards and furnish the room. A Zip n go video is available on our website or scan the following flashcode : 13

6) Managing obstructions Piping To install laminate flooring around piping, join the ends of 2 boards around it. To do this, drill a hole in the planks, allowing 8-10 mm for expansion, so that the centre is whether planks join. Then fit the planks around the piping and clip them into the adjoining planks. If the hole cannot be made at the junction of 2 planks, it can be drilled in one plank, using a router (again, leave space for expansion). Then cut out the remaining part behind the hole and slot the plank in around the pipe, using glue if necessary. Make sure there is enough room for expansion around the pipe after fitting. Door jambs, fitting with the A clip. The planks are cut to leave an expansion gap of at least 8 10 mm after fitting. If the doorjamb clearance does not allow the planks to be slotted together like the others, they can be laid flat, using thealsapan FLOORING KIT wooden block and a hammer. The planks should be gently tapped into place; no other method should be used in conjunction. The planks can be installed lengthwise by gently tapping them in until they are correctly positioned. Door jambs, fitting with Zip n go. The planks are cut to leave an expansion gap of at least 8 10 mm after fitting. If the doorjamb clearance does not allow the planks to be slotted together like the others, they can be laid flat. Slide the planks under the door jamb to fit them in widthways and then, using thealsapan FLOORING KIT wooden block and a hammer, gently tap them into place lengthways until they are correctly positioned 7) Finishing Once fitting is finished, pull out the wedges and start fitting the skirting to the walls, covering the expansion gap. The skirting should be fitted so as to allow for the flooring to expand. Any overlaps of ALSAPROTECT protective film can be covered using a finishing profile. You are advised to use skirting, scoties and shoe mouldings which coordinate with our flooring decors. The expansion gap around piping can be covered using pipe covers or COLORSEALANT sealant. Any gaps remaining between the skirting boards and the wall or flooring can be covered using COLORSEALANT sealant, bevelling the end of the cartridge to produce a suitable seal. Use ALSALU or ALSAPRO floor seals to cover the expansion gaps (see the Floor Profiles pages). If the floor profiles and the skirting boards cannot be fixed, you are advised to cover the expansion gaps using COLORSEALANT sealant over backing foam, applied to prevent expansion gaps being filled. The room is now ready for use. FOR ANY SPECIAL FITTING NEEDS, PLEASE CONSULT YOUR RETAILER. 14

Laying instructions on underfloor heating. 1) Precautions Our SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR, CLIP 300 and MEDINA flooring products have a thermal resistance which makes them suitable for laying on surfaces with underfloor low- temperature heat storage or PRE electric heating. They must not be laid on PCR cooling / heating floors. A gap of at least 3 cm must be left between the flooring and any piece of furniture in order to prevent heat buildup. 2) Laying conditions The thermal resistance of the underlay and laminate flooring assembly must not exceed < 0,15 m² K/W. The ALSACOUSTIC and FLOORISOL underlays are not suitable for use with underfloor heating. It should not be forgotten that the natural drying time of a new sub-floor (one and a half weeks per centimetre thickness of concrete, and half as much again during damp weather) should be followed by a gradual start-up of the heating system, carried out by the heating contractor, two weeks at least before the flooring is laid. The heating stabilises the water content of the sub-floor corresponding to its future conditions of use and limits the upward migration of water vapour when it is turned on once the flooring has been laid. The heating must be turned off 48 hours before fitting and the room kept at a stable temperature of around 18. NB : gradual heating allows the flooring to adapt to the normal moisture content of the room and to prevent water vapour rising when the heating is turned back on again after floor installation. With new buildings, the flooring cannot be laid until the heating has been operating for a period in compliance with the building code, or until the heating has been operating for at least 14 days in the room where the flooring is to be fitted, to ensure it is completely dry. 3) Fitting Fit underlays as required before laying the ALSAPAN FLOORING product. Temperature and humidity conditions are the same as above. - water-based heat-exchange systems must be at least 30mm from the concrete surface. - the surface temperature must never exceed 28 C - a polyethylene film must systematically be placed on the surface Underfloor heating operation along with variations in the relative humidity of the air in the room can cause the laminate flooring to expand or contract. Make sure, therefore, that expansion gaps of at least 8 to 10 mm are left between the flooring and walls, partitions, pipes, pillars and door jambs. ALSAPAN FLOORING products are laid without glue and therefore the underfloor heating can be used immediately after fitting. Consult the technical data sheets to know the thermal resistance of the flooring. 15

Laying instructions in humid areas. The following recommendations and illustrations are in addition to the general conditions already described. DCLIC AQUASTAR laminate flooring is resistent to humidity only if used with CLICSEAL product, on the tongues of the planks, and with COLORSEALANT product, on the perimeter of the room (between the wall and the laminate flooring). They must be used to avoid any water seepage under the laminate flooring. 1) General principle The planks should be laid from left to right, with the grooved edge against the wall. For better understanding and exact positioning on the ground in relation to the geometry of the room, we recommend that you position the first three rows without ClicSeal them. If necessary, shift the outline of the starting wall to include the extra width needed to prevent the last row being too narrow. Reminder : ClicSeal is dedicated specifically for the AQUASTAR Laminate flooring, but can be also used with all glueless flooring laminate and engineered wood floors. ClicSeal is a joint sealer designed to protect the core of Click floors from moisture and water damage. It will prevent joints from swelling and opening and allows free movement of individual planks. 16

The COLORSEALANT acrylic mastics are designed for use as coloured joints; they are waterproof. They are used around the edges of ALSAPAN FLOORING flooring where a skirting board or a cover strip cannot be fitted. COLORSEALANT mastic is easy to work and is dry to the touch after 15 minutes; it is cleaned with water, and is resistant to mould and damp. It sticks to concrete, marble, ceramic, granite, wood, bronze, copper, and most solid materials. COLORSEALANT may be painted; it retains its flexibility even in dry conditions, and is resistant to detergents. It does not break or crack. Fitting: The expansion space to be covered must first be filled with a resilient material (eg. foam). 2) Assembling the boards Apply gel to top of the tongue before laying plank Lay boards immediately, excess should squeeze out of the top of the seam. ClicSeal will not stick or stain the flooring surface. Allow 5 minutes to dry, then peel off overfill. 3) Guarantee The guarantee for the DCLIC AQUASTAR is only effective if the product is laid with the using of ClicSeal, on each side of the product and on all the planks of the room, and with the COLORSEALANT. 17

It is to be used for floating floors installation. Fitting The film should be laid over the entire sub-floor before the appropriate underlay ALSAMOUSSE, ALSACOUSTIC or ALSAPLUS or FLOORISOL is laid. An extra amount of the film (3-5 cm) should be raised up along the walls; this surplus is then cut off level with the boards after the flooring has been laid. Lengths of the film should be overlapped by at least 20 cm and held together with adhesive tape. IMPORTANT As recommended in DTU 51-11, where the underlying surface, whether it is new or old, contains hydraulic or anhydrous binders, on ground floors or in upstairs rooms, whether or not the floor has integrated heating. There is no need to lay an ALSAPROTECT film on a wooden floor or a PVC surface in an upstairs part of the house. 43 1) Precautions Use and Care Rubber or felt pads should be fitted to the underside of the legs of chairs and other furniture. This will also make the furniture easier to move. Chairs on castor wheels should have W-type soft wheels intended for hard floors (to EN 12529:1998, ); these are recognisable by their two colours. In normal use, entries from the outside should be fitted with a door mat to retain grit and dampness brought in on shoes. ALSAPAN FLOORING flooring has a waterproof surface wear layer made of thermosetting aminoplast resins with a level of gloss and surface structure determined during production; this should not be altered by adding any other product such as wax, polish or varnish. ALSAPAN FLOORING flooring should never be sanded. 2) Cleaning For ordinary cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner or a broom. If more thorough cleaning is necessary, we recommend using a slightly damp floorcloth, well wrung out, with or without an ordinary non-abrasive cleaning product. To remove stubborn marks such as paint, rubber, shoe scuff-marks or glue, it is possible to use window-cleaning products, white spirit, acetone or similar products. These products should be used sparingly, particularly near joints and cleaned with a slightly damp floorcloth. Wet cleaning is not recommended. Any accidental spills of water should be wiped up immediately. Rinsing with clean water and wiping dry will avoid traces of limemarks and enable the room to be used again quicker. Cleaning should be adapted according to the type of premises and the density of use. IMPORTANT : Never use cutting tools to clean the bevelled edges. Do not steam clean as it will damage the floorings. 3) Replacing a damaged plank-row : removal technique For ALSAPAN FLOORING laminate flooring, we recommend dismantling the boards until the faulty part is reached, replacing the board and re-assembling the flooring immediately. This is a fairly easy technique as there is no glue used in fitting the planks. - Taking the wall nearest the damaged plank as a starting point, choose the rows to be removed. If the damaged plank is in the middle of the room, you are advised to start the removing process from the part of the flooring which was installed last, as it is easier to fit new planks by sliding the tongue into the groove than the other way round. - Use a pencil to put a number on each plank (row number and position in the row) so that the flooring can be put back in the same order once the damaged plank has been replaced. - Remove the skirting boards in the affected area. - Carefully remove the rows in question and gently lay them out flat on the floor. - Replace the damaged plank by a new one. - Reinstall the planks in the same order as they were removed. - Put back the skirting boards. - Do not throw away the zips, place them back in each plank before reinstalling. 43

NB : this operation is quickly completed and your flooring will soon be back to its best. 4) Replacing a damaged plank- individual plank: replacement technique When a plank is damaged, it is possible to replace it without removing whole rows. To do this, you ll need the following: 1 plane 1 pencil 1 wood chisel 1 ruler 1 plunge-cut saw 1 tube of glue This is how to do it: Use the ruler and the pencil to draw a line 10 mm from the edges of each of the plank(s) you want to change. 44

Saw along this line, being careful not to damage the underlay (adjust the cutting depth) Use the wood chisel to remove the damaged plank Trim the lower part of the grooves and tongues of the new plank, using a plane 45

Apply glue to the 4 sides of the planks on the floor and slot in the new plank 6. Place an object weighing at least 5 kg at each end of the plank for 24 hours 46

Warranty conditions The present guarantee conditions are intended for application to the floor covering ("the Product") manufactured and/or commercialised by the company ALSAPAN ( the Manufacturer ) under the brand name and/or title of the ALSAPAN, ALSAFLOOR and HOMFLOR, and any other title or brand name that may be registered. 1) Scope of warranty In addition to the statutory guarantee, the Product is guaranteed in respect of any defect caused by defective materials, manufacture or design on condition that each of the points set out below obtain. This contractual guarantee is limited to the replacement free of charge (including transport costs) of the defective Product by an identical product or one of equivalent quality if such is not available. The guarantee does not cover the cost of labour and transport incurred in lifting and relaying the Product or any other related expense (moving furniture, etc). To know the EN13329 Technical Requirements, please refer to Document 1. 2) Duration and nature of warranty The defect must be notified within a period of 25 years and 35 years for some ranges commencing on the date on which the Product was originally bought; this date is indicated on the purchase invoice of the original final consumer, in the form of the shop till receipt of wholesaler's invoice ("the Seller"). The guarantee shall nevertheless operate on a sliding scale to take account of wear and tear caused by age, reducing by 1/25th each year. The present guarantee applies to the original final consumer and may not be transferred to a third party. 3) Laying The obligations of the Manufacturer are limited to supplying a Product, not laid, with instructions for laying it and for its use and maintenance, in accordance with its intended use, according to the standards in force. Any other services, in respect of either installation or any other action, are carried out under the full responsibility of the purchaser and/or final consumer. Accordingly, the guarantee cannot be invoked in the event of the appearance of defects as a result of faulty laying carried out by the final consumer and/or his/her service provider. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for the final inspection of the product before laying. Consequently, the present guarantee only covers obvious defects if these are discovered when the product is being unpacked or laid. As appropriate, the purchaser is obliged to stop laying immediately and inform the Seller without delay. When the product is laid by a professional retailer, the latter shall undertake to install the product under his/its own responsibility, in accordance with normal professional practice, abiding by the regulations in force in the country where the Product is being laid and by the Manufacturer's recommendations, and to give the final consumer the instructions for the use and maintenance of the Product. 47

4) Application of warranty To claim application of the guarantee, the Purchaser must contact the Seller and present proof of purchase (invoice or till receipt). Once the Product has been laid, application of the present guarantee shall be subject to the Manufacturer's appreciation of whether or not the claim is justified. Consequently, the Manufacturer must be able to inspect the Product and note the reported defect. The Manufacturer reserves a period of 30 days to check whether the claim is justified or not before allowing the guarantee to be applied. During this period, the purchaser either directly or through a third-party service provider may not carry out any replacement or repair, otherwise the guarantee would not be applicable. Replacement of all or part of the Product in application of the present guarantee shall not extend the duration of the initial guarantee. 5) Exclusions Apart from the exclusions relating to the specific circumstances set out above, the cases listed below shall be systematically excluded from the present guarantee: - Any defect arising from the failure to respect or observe the recommendations contained in the instructions for laying or the instructions contained in the Manufacturer's instructions for use and/or maintenance; - Any loss or material or non-pecuniary prejudice suffered further to the discovery of a defect covered by the present contractual guarantee; - Failure to respect trade standards, norms, technical instructions and/or the provisions of legislation and regulations on the subject, and more particularly heavier traffic than that recommended for the category of classification; - Any defect that becomes apparent further to the use on the Product of or contact with whether deliberate or not products that are or are generally recognised to be harmful; - Any defect caused by negligence of any kind or by exposing the Product to external conditions affecting the material; - Premature wear of the surface of the Product where this represents less than 10% of the total area laid; - Defects caused by external aggressive factors of any kind whatsoever, whether deliberate or not, such as punching caused by heels, contact with and impacts caused by various objects, particularly where such objects are pointed and/or sharp; traces and marks left by furniture, insects and/or household pets; - Defects caused by the action and/or effect of water in any form whatsoever; - Changes in colour caused by the effects of natural light and the sun's ultraviolet radiation this is a natural phenomenon, producing a patina on the wood or any other alteration of the shine or polish of the Product; - Products not paid for in full and Products classified as seconds and sold as such. 49 Appendix 1: Legend of pictograms Pictogrammes Meanings Details Usage To prevent premature wear, felt or synthetic pads should be placed under the legs of furniture and chairs. For occasional loads of 100 kg/cm², a weight-distribution system should be used. If using a roller chair, make sure it is fitted with soft-tread casters, type W. (EN : 1998, ), which usually have a 2 colour design. Care Clean the flooring with the grain, using a broom. A vacuum cleaner can also be used (brush, without rollers). Anti-dust-mite Water Protect product Application of a thin layer of paraffin on the edges will prevent water ingress between the planks. Products suitable for a humid environment Product compatible with humid rooms, when used with a CLICSEAL waterproofing product on the plank tongues and COLORSEALANT sealant around the room perimeter (between the wall and the laminate flooring) to prevent water ingress under the flooring. Do not allow water to pool on the product. The company is a member of the Association of European Producers of Laminate Flooring Only companies with a commitment to high standards of quality with corresponding production processes are accepted as members of the Association. Product compatible with underfloor heating The flooring can be laid on surfaces with underfloor heating (including certified radiant electric floor heating). This is possible only if the thermal resistance of the entire system (underlay + laminate flooring ) < 0,15 m² K/W. The company is PEFC-certified (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) PEFC is a Forest certification system which contributes to the sustainable management of forests. The PEFC logo shows consumers that they are buying a product for which the wood comes from sustainably managed forests. It is tangible proof of the environmental awareness and responsibility of the company. 49

Indoor air emissions The label shows a pictogram with a large capital letter which indicates the level of volatile organic compounds in the indoor air of a room. The classes go from A+ (very weak emissions) to C (very high emissions). Classes of use These are classes laid down by European standard EN 13329, which sets out the uses to which laminate flooring can be put. It separates Domestic use from Business use, for light, normal and heavy use. All our laminate flooring products are classified as suitable for heavy domestic use (class 23). Resistance to abrasion : AC3, AC4, AC5 or AC6 The abrasion class shows how well the flooring resists abrasion wear. The higher the class, the better the resistance. CE Marking This shows the performance ratings, based on each product s DOP (in accordance with standard EN 14041): - reaction to fire testing - emission of formaldehyde - slip resistance - PCP (Pentachlorophenol) - thermal conductivity 50

Appendix 2: Environmental caracteristics 1) Formaldehyde ALSAPAN FLOORING laminated flooring products are in full compliance with the E1 standard. Formaldehyde emission class E1 : emission 3.5 mg/m²h according to the En 717-2( EN 14041) test method. *The EN standard determines the formaldehyde release for the characterization, compliance assessment and CE marking for wood-based panels for use in the construction industry. 2) Ecological properties Additional environmental information sheets can be found on the website of the EPLF (European Producers of Laminate Flooring) - Table: summary of ecologically relevant characteristics of laminate floor coverings Property Composition Summarised assessment - Contains up to 90% wood fibre - Water-based resins - No biocides or organo-chlorinated containing additives - No harmful heavy metals Product profile - Surface layers do not contain any flexibilization agents - Environmentally friendly production process - Full recycling of materials in production cycle Emissions Hygiene Disposal - Favourable life-cycle environmental performance data - Very low formaldehyde emissions - Negligible VOC emissions - Easy to clean and maintain - Advantageous in terms of allergy sensitivity - Long-lasting wear resistant - Suitable for material or thermal recycling 51

3) Health safety labelling Since the 01st January, 2012, all laminate flooring put into market has to mention the health safety labelling. Each product rejects volatile compounds (ex : formaldehyde). The purpose of this new labelling is to clearly indicate the product impact on the indoor air. «*Information as to emissions of volatile compounds in the indoor air, which might be harmful to the health when inhaled, on a scale from Class A+ (very low emissions) to C (high emissions)». SOLID MEDIUM, SOLID PLUS, SOLID, SOLID CHIC, FORTE, CLIP 400, VISUAL, OSMOZE, DCLIC AQUASTAR, CLIP 300 and MEDINA ranges are classified A+. 52
