1 NVH KIT P/N APPLICATION RANGER 900 XP BEFORE YOU BEGIN Read these instructions and check to be sure all parts and tools are accounted for. Please retain these installation instructions for future reference and parts ordering information. 2 TOOLS NEEDED ¼ Drill Bit Marker T25 Bit Butane Torch Drill Pliers APPROXIMATE ASSEMBLY TIME 30 minutes IMPORTANT Your NVH KIT is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation instructions thoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and to ensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 2. Using pliers, remove four plastic rivets (C) from drive shaft cover (D), as shown in figure. Remove cover (D). Save all components unless noted. Where applicable, unplug the PTO seat switch. 1. Remove both seat bottoms (A) and storage boxes (B). Seats bottoms should be pulled out of their hinge points and set aside. 3. Remove front five screws (E) from left rocker panel (F). Repeat same on right side. Page 2 of 5

3 4. Remove ten screws (G) from base of floor as shown and two sets of two screws on throttle pedal faces (H). Remove pedal faces. 9. Using ¼" drill bit, drill holes into floor panel using holes in the barriers as guides. 10. Press nylon dart clip 5 through each hole in floor panel opposite the barriers. Press washers 4 on barrier-side of the dart clips so the barriers are tightly fastened as shown in figure. 5. Remove floor panel from vehicle and set aside. Avoid shifting pedal seal on panel while lifting the panel away from pedal arms. 6. Thoroughly clean back, upright surface of floor panel with an alcohol based cleaner. 7. Heat back upright surface of floor panel with butane torch in preparation for foam barrier 2 installation. See figure below for location. 11. Place floor panel into its original position prior to Step 5. If pedal seal has separated from floor panel, push it back into place Reattach floor panel to frame using ten screws (G) removed in Step 4. IMPORTANT Use only flame's outer blue envelope, maintaining a distance of 3-6 inches from floor panel. Do not hold the flame at a single location for more than 1 second. The flame treatment lasts for only two hours and therefore should occur just prior to barrier application. If barrier application does not occur within this time, flame treating should be conducted again. 8. Remove and discard adhesive covering from both left 2 and right 3 foam floor barriers. Place barriers as shown in figure and press down to fully activate the adhesive. 13. Reattach pedal faces (H) using four screws removed in Step 4. Be sure front pedal has arrow pointing forward and rear pedal arrow points backward. 14. Reattach both left and right rocker panels (F) using ten screws (E) removed in Step Reattach drive shaft cover (D) using four plastic rivets (C) removed in Step Install storage boxes (B) removed in step 1. Do not install seats at this time. 17. Raise dump box to its top-most limit. Page 3 of 5

4 18. Remove eleven plastic rivets (J) and four screws (K) from closeoff panel, as shown in figure. Remove panel. 19. Remove six screws (L) holding seat backs to frame as shown in figure. Remove seat backs from frame. 20. Cut rear trim panel 1 as shown in figure. See detail (M) for location. 21. Cut out three areas (N) that leaves ½" around the seat belts. If needed, make initial cuts before placing onto vehicle and make final cuts when fully attached. 22. Place rear trim panel 1 in vehicle, and mark the locations for six holes (P), as shown. Set panel aside. 23. Using the ¼ inch drill bit, drill holes into the frame on marks. Page 4 of 5

5 24. Place rear trim panel back in the vehicle and press a nylon dart clip 6 through each hole on panel until it is tightly fastened. 25. Reattach closeoff panel using eleven plastic rivets (J) and four M6 screws (K) removed in Step 18. Run center seat belt between panel and ROPS frame while outer seat belts run between panel and seat back. 26. Lower dump box to its original position. 27. If PTO switch was disconnected, reconnect it. 28. Place seats bottoms (A) into their respective hinge points and close them. Page 5 of 5
