3 Application: Polaris Ranger MY 2010 Before you begin, read these instructions and check to be sure all parts and tools are in your kit. Retain these installation instructions for future reference. IMPORTANT: To ensure satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence as shown in these instructions. NOTES: Leave all fasteners loose until all the panels are installed and properly located. Page 3 of 9

Be sure to position the upper vinyl clamp on each side of the roll cage. Both driver and passenger side clamps are located as shown here. Figure 1 2. Install the lower side panel.

4 *When all panels are installed tighten fasteners only until a slight dimple appears in the Gelcoat finish. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!! *On all ¼ use a rubber bonded washer on the exterior and flat washer and nylock nut on the interior. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Follow the instructions (1-3) of the Top & Rear Panel installation. Be sure to position the upper vinyl clamp on each side of the roll cage. Both driver and passenger side clamps are located as shown here. Figure 1 2. Install the lower side panel. First locate the supplied drilling template. This template needs to be taped onto the machine. Align as shown in Figure 2. It will locate where to drill the fastener holes. Be sure to use ample tape so the template doesn t move when drilling. This stage is critical. BE SURE THE TEMPLATE IS ALIGNED PROPERLY. Page 4 of 9

2 bolts 3-1/2 bolt Tip: Angle the drill bit forward on this hole only. Driver side template has notch. Align the bottom and front edges as shown. Figure 2 3. Once the template is secured in place.

Use a 5/16 drill bit to drill through the template and the plastic. You will have to drill through the outside fender and the inside fender so you can get the nut and washer on the bolt.

The template is symmetrical and will be used for both the drivers and passenger s side.

Feel behind the aft 2 bolt location marked with an X in figure There is a wall on the inside fender that the drill hole must be in front of for you to be able to install a nut. Use a 5/16 drill bit to drill through the template and the plastic. You will have to drill through the outside fender and the inside fender so you can get the nut and washer on the bolt. The 3-1/2 bolt will come into the cab storage area. The 2 bolts will be reached from the fender well opening. 4. Next the lower drill template will need to be located and aligned on the bottom frame. The template is symmetrical and will be used for both the drivers and passenger s side. Again use a 5/16 drill bit and drill through the plastic rocker panel and the inside and outside walls of the lower frame. 3-1/2 bolts Reminder: All exterior bolts need a Rubber Bonded washer under the bolt head. A ¼ flat washer with a ¼ nylock nut on the back side. Use a straight edge in these two locations. The template needs to be flush with the floor. The template is flush with the back and bottom. Note: It is recommended that you drill all of the holes for either the drivers or passenger side and then install that side before drilling the opposite side.

Caution: When drilling the lower rocker panel holes on the passenger side, use extreme care not to drill into the fuel tank. Inspect the area prior to drilling and note the location of the fuel tank. Use a sharp, short drill bit and drill carefully. 5. After the template holes are drilled on one side fasten that panel to the machine. Push the panel in tight against the rear panel and use the hole in the panel as a guide to drill a 9/32 hole thru the frame. Use the spacers between the panel and the frame. The bottom threshold bolts should be tightened just enough for the foam to seal and bolts to not rattle. Drill here using hole as guide. 2 bolt, 1/4 flat bonded washer with 1 Nylon spacer, 1/4 flat washer & then 1/4 nylock nut. Figure 4 Repeat steps 2 through 5 for the opposite side panel 6. Install the upper side panel. The panel will bolt directly to the lower side panel and through one clamp on the roll bar. Once the roof and windshield are installed you may need to apply foam spacing tape in the area shown to ensure that the upper panel fits snugly against the roof and windshield. Page 6 of 9

Add foam spacing tape in this area as necessary. NOTE: Usually requires a single layer on each side. Occasionally a double layer or none at all is required.

Occasionally a double layer or none at all is required. 1-1/2 bolt This bolt goes thru the Roll cage clamp. Use a ¼ between clamp & bolt. 1 bolt (B) Tightening this bolt will pull door in at Top Rear. (A) Leave this bolt loose to access the lower hinge locknuts. Tighten after the doors & hinges have been adjusted and tightened. This bolt will also pull in the back of door as tightened Figure 5 7. Install the windshield and roof. Make sure the threshold panel fits inside the windshield, roof and rear panel. 8. Adjust and position all panels and tighten all fasteners (complete the instructions for the windshield and top and back panel). **Except as noted in the photo above** 9. Now install the striker plates and striker pins. The hole for the pin is slotted for in and out travel. This can be adjusted for a tighter fit when the door is closed. Page 7 of 9

3) 1-1/4 clamps. Note: The door latch has 2 catch positions. Adjust the striker pin to fully engage the second position. Striker pin, 12M- 1.0 jam nut. ½ lock washer behind 12M-1.0. These holes will be slotted for left to right travel.

The hinges on the doors are aligned from the factory and we recommend not adjusting them. Once the door is hanging, slowly shut it until it hits the striker pin.

8 3) 1-1/4 clamps. Note: The door latch has 2 catch positions. Adjust the striker pin to fully engage the second position. Striker pin, 12M- 1.0 jam nut. ½ lock washer behind 12M-1.0. These holes will be slotted for left to right travel. ¼ x ¾ bolt. Figure Hang the door. The hinge halves that are on the upper and lower side panels are slotted and may need alignment for the door to be mounted. The hinges on the doors are aligned from the factory and we recommend not adjusting them. Once the door is hanging, slowly shut it until it hits the striker pin. Adjust the pin and plate as needed for the latch to catch and compress the seal around the perimeter. Also, as you are doing this you will need to watch the outside perimeter of the door and make sure it is centered in the door jamb. Adjust the door until getting a consistent gap between the door and the surrounds. There are slots in the hinges for this. In extreme cases you may need to adjust the door surrounds. This bolt in the center of the lower side panel also adjusts the door. Tightening this screw will put more pressure on the front door seal and move the door slightly toward the rear of the vehicle as well as bring the upper rear of door in. This gap should be consistent around the entire perimeter. Figure 7 Page 8 of 9

9 11. After the door is hung and adjusted properly install the supplied nylon strap (door stop). The hinge bolts will go through the strap. Figure 8 Page 9 of 9
