1 GamesPro v4.3 Professional Software for Mounted Games GamesPro is a software program that can significantly reduce the time needed to prepare a Mounted Games competition. If used during the competition you will also be able to present all results in a few minutes. As a total, preparing and finishing all the papers, documents and results should not take more than one hour for any competition. GamesPro can also easily upload documents to GamesPro Info Centre, a web site that makes it possible for everyone to view information about your competition. You may have heard about GamesPro. During its development period it has been presented at the annual IMGA meetings. It has now become a functional and reliable product that can help you in preparing and completing any Mounted Games competition. Initially it was meant for use in Norway, but it is now an international software program in English. During the development period valuable input has come from people that hosts Mounted Games competitions and from IMGA s president Keith Martin. Some countries are already using the program. GamesPro is still being developed and maintained. New features, improvements and documents will be added in later versions. GamesPro v4.3 can run on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 including the 64 bit versions. It was released April /05/2014 GamesPro v43 presentation Page 1

2 Enhanced, more intuitive and user-friendly GamesPro v 4.x has been rewritten to give it a more Enhanced, Intuitive and User-friendly interface. Also important functions has been added: -- Seeding can be used as an alternative to a normal draw. -- Specialized type of draw used for World and European Championships. -- Several competitions can be open at the same time. -- Support for semi-finals. -- The Online Score Sheets can be changed during the competition. This applies to both race-points in previous heats and changes in the teams and races. -- The number of heats in the semi finals and finals (A, B, C ) can be specified individually and is no longer dependent of what was used in the sessions. -- The number of lines in the semi-finals and finals can be specified individually and is no longer dependent of what was used in the sessions. -- An Improved Online Score Sheet interface. Easier to use, more difficult for the writer to make mistakes. -- Riders can be distinguished by Hat Colours. -- Count Back can be used to automatically resolve Tie-Break/Run-Offs. -- Positions can be entered instead of points. 3 General features and output documents: Features: Several competitions can be open at the same time. Supports competitions for teams, pairs and individuals. Supports 1 4 sessions and zero, single or double finals. Supports semi finals. Predefined registration forms make it possible to read and validate all participant data in a few minutes. The Score Sheets can be changed during the competition from 3 new screens that can perform all kind of updates. Riders can be distinguished by hat-colour. The number of semi finals and finals (A, B, C ) can be specified individually. The number of lines in the semi-finals and finals can be specified individually. Good quality pre-calculated draws for the most common competitions. Generates a new good draw in less than a minute. Create a full analyse of the draw quality. Seeding can be used as an alternative to a normal draw. Specialized type of draw used for World and European Championships. Preliminary results are available during the competition. Race lists and Draws can be stored and reused for competitions in the future. Easy upload of documents to the web. Works together with GamesPro Info Centre. Real colours can be used in the Score Sheets for Hat-Colours. Count Back to automatically resolve tie-breaks/run-offs. Create the race lists. Equipment layouts specifications. 6 Screen layout... All the main screen has a consistent layout consisting of a heading, a button area and the data area. Here is an example from the Draw screen. Normally the Button area is not needed all the time so it can easily be minimized to give more space to the Data area. 11 Race List screen features... There are four different types of races to use. You use dropdown lists to build a new race list.. The Race List Store can store good race lists for further use. You can specify the number of races per session, semi-final and finals. 28 Online Score Sheet features... GamesPro supports tiebreaks for both the last session, the semi-finals and in the finals. Tiebreak results are filled in and the results are sorted accordingly. Tiebreaks for the last session and the semifinals are displayed in a separate panel. During the competition incidents may happen that require immediate changes in the Score Sheets. - Teams may have to withdraw from the competition. - A race may have to be substituted with another race. - Points may have been added incorrectly.
