It is a hand-held device that can be run through a binding wire to cleanly open it without spoiling the document. Place the document down with the wire seam showing, position the nose of the Ring Wire Opener into the wire seam. Slide the device all the way along the wire seam, now you can easily remove the opened binding wire.
