5 NEW This Year! TDLA Health and Wellness Walk/ Run - mirrored after DRI for Life, TDLA offers its members an opportunity to get out and get moving at our Annual Meeting! TDLA Annual Meeting Education TDLA Young Lawyers Boot Camp took place on Thursday September 21 in Memphis. We hosted about 15 Young Lawyers with a program tailored just for them. Great feed back from this program and we will be building on it in the future!

8 TDLA Awards TDLA held its Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday September 21 at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN. TDLA congratulates our 2017 award winners who came highly recommended by their peers. TDLA Defense Lawyer of the Year went to Dawn Davis Carson of Hickman Goza and Spragins in Memphis, TN. This award honors a TDLA member who has made significant contributions to TDLA, to the defense bar, and/or to the practice of law in Tennessee this year. TDLA Rising Star award went to Adam Nelson of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell in Jackson, TN. This award honors a TDLA member who has been practicing law 10 years or less and who has made significant contributions to TDLA, to the defense bar, and/or who has promoted the interests of young lawyers in Tennessee this year. Award nomination forms go out every Summer.
