3 A NOTE FROM TOBY Dear friends, You re here! You made it to the best place on Earth. Our Shelter Island campus is a home away from home for all of us, and we hope you feel the same. First up tonight is our chorus. Everyone at PMP sings. These are some of the most remarkably talented young musicians out there, and it s no surprise they can all carry a tune. As for the orchestra, you re in for a treat. Many of you have caught a preview at our open rehearsals this summer, but for those of you who haven t had the chance, prepare to be blown away! I am grateful to all who made this night possible. First of all, the talented and generous chefs, bakers, brewers, and winemakers who put their passion into the incredible tastes you ll enjoy tonight. We also have a fabulous auction, thanks to our singularly generous group of donors, representing the best of the East End and beyond. For those of you feeling extra inspired to place a bid, please know your gift literally makes our world go round. Finally, I am grateful to YOU. You are our champions, our inner circle, and you truly understand why education and the arts are of utmost importance in our world right now. Many of you have watched our students grow over the years, and you ve become an important part of our PMP family. We simply can t do what we do without you. I am deeply honored to share this evening with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely, Toby Perlman President and Founder
