1 Single Channel Detector NLD-0 series The NLD0 is a single channel inductive loop detector, designed for parking and vehicle access control. The function of the detector is to detect vehicle presence by means of an inductance change caused by the vehicle passing over a wire loop buried under the road surface. Diagnostic Capabilities: Comprehensive diagnostics capabilities allow for accurate diagnosis of loop and installation problems.. Selectable Presence Time: The output of the presence relay can be selected to limit a detect output to a fixed time(time>0 minutes) while a vehicle remains on the loop.. Sensitivity setting: The sensitivity settings allow for finer adjustment of the detection level 5. Frequency setting: The frequency settings provide greater flexibility in preventing crosstalk in multi-loop applications.. Reset Switch : The reset switch enables the detector to be manually reset during commissioning and testing.this results in the detector re-tuning the sensing loop and becoming ready for vehicle detection. Two separate output relays: Presence Relay A is presence output, can be extended for 0,,5,,,5,0 or 0 seconds. Pulse Relay, programmable with external way DIP switches, provide presence, pulse on entry, pulse on exit, or failed output. 5 Detector position and installation:. Install the detector in a weatherproof housing.. The detector should be as close to the sensing loop as possible.. The detector should always be installed away from strong magnetic fields.. Avoid running high voltage wires near the loop detectors. 5. Do not install the detector on vibrating objects.. When the control box is installed within metres of the loop, normal wires can be used to connect the control box to the loop. More than metres requires the use of a core shielded cable. Do not exceed 0 metres distance between control box and loop..
