V delu je obravnavana problematika in podana ena izmed rešitev merjenja magnetnih lastnosti mehkomagnetnih toroidnih tračnih jeder. Predlagana rešitev se podreja mednarodnemu standardu IEC 404-2, ki za meritve magnetnih lastnosti predpisuje sinusni potek gostote magnetnega pretoka v testnem jedru. V ta namen je s pomočjo primarnega magnetilnega toka izvedena posredna regulacija sekundarne inducirane napetosti. Klasični merilni princip je modificiran do te mere, da omogoča preprosto in hitro vključitev merjenca v merilni tokokrog in s tem posledično krajši čas posamezne meritve. A novel measuring system for fast determination of magnetic properties of soft-magnetic ring cores is presented. The proposed method complies with the international standard IEC that requires a sinusoidal magnetic polarization of the core. To assure this, the induced secondary voltage is controlled through an impressed primary magnetizing current. The conventional measurement concept is modified to enable primary and secondary turns reduction and consequently fast connection of the specimen in the test circuitry. The required voltage shape criterion (FF U ) is in general fulfilled in two different set-ups. The first, the simple one (Fig. 2), relies on the sinusoidal primary voltage supply used as a magnetizing source of i P. However, to maintain the secondary voltage form factor within the preferred range, the voltage drop on primary resistance R P and leakage inductance L σp should be as low as possible. As a consequence, a primary wire with a large cross-sectional area and an excellent coupling between the primary and secondary winding are obligatory [4]. The second set-up (Fig. 3) uses a power amplifier with a primary winding of the specimen attached to its output, while the secondary voltage is fed back to its negative input in order to instantaneously control the secondary voltage waveform. At the first sight, the latter set-up seems to be ideal. Namely, the voltage drop on the primary winding is compensated through the control of a power amplifier for which reason no restrictions should be imposed on the primary winding design. Unfortunately, this is not so due to: (i) the DC offset voltage of the power amplifier resulting in the pre-magnetized magnetic core and consequently in incorrect measurement results; (ii) the power amplifier instability occuring at low impedance loads. The above drawbacks were successfully solved in the proposed measurement set-up (Fig. 4). It consists of a microcomputer-controlled secondary voltage control loop and a supervisory PC with the LabVIEW application software that controls the measurement procedure and serves for data visualization. Its main idea is the usage of an additional matching transformer (Tr.) placed between the power amplifier (PA) and the specimen. The matching transformer prevents the specimen from being pre-magnetized with the remaining DC voltage off- Prejet 23. september, 2001 Odobren 5. april, 2002 set at the PA output that is left uncompensated through the use of a low-pass (LP) filter (f C = 2 Hz). Since the transformer is a part of the control loop, no special requirements have to be met during its design stage, except that the possible pre-magnetization has to be taken into consideration. Moreover, the matching transformer with a proper turn ratio enables a stable PA operation despite the primary turns N P as well as secondary turns N S reduction. With the use of programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) in both measurement paths and in the feedback control loop of the proposed measurement scheme, the measurement accuracy is with regard to B below ± 0.5 % and the voltage form factor deviation is lower than 1 %. Though the proposed measuring system is basically designed for the ring core magnetic measurements at the line frequency (50 or 60 Hz), it allows for an expansion within the range from 20 Hz up to 400 Hz (at higher frequencies the number of samples per period is reduced). Key words: ring core, soft-magnetic material, measuring system, microcomputer, hysteresis, form factor 1 Uvod Mehkomagnetna tračna toroidna jedra so pomemben sestavni del tokovnih in napetostnih transformatorjev in dušilk v omrežnih filtrih. Za optimalno delovanje celotne naprave je zato bistvenega pomena poznavanje njihovih magnetnih lastnosti. Slednje ponavadi ugotavljamo s pomočjo uveljavljene metode [1], pri kateri jedro magnetimo z izmeničnim primarnim tokom i P, na sekundarni strani pa kot posledico spreminjajočega se polja merimo inducirano napetost. Dolžina magnetne silnice toroidnih jeder pravokotnega prereza je podana z izrazom l FE =2π d z d n 2 ln ( dz d n ). (2) sklep med primarnim in sekundarnim navitjem [4], kar pa ne govori v prid hitri in preprosti meritvi večjega števila toroidnih jeder. Da bi se izognili težavam z doseganjem želenega faktorja oblike inducirane napetosti, je morda na prvi pogled ugodnejša druga metoda, pri kateri z merjenjem sekundarne inducirane napetosti povratno vplivamo na delovanje močnostnega ojačevalnika (slika 3). Na sekundarni strani se kot posledica spreminjajoče se gostote magnetnega pretoka B inducira napetost u S = N S S FE db/dt, (3) pri čemer je z N S označeno število sekundarnih ovojevinss FE presek jedra. Ob upoštevanju zahtev, ki jih narekuje standard IEC (sinusni potek gostote magnetnega pretoka v jedru), je tudi inducirana napetost na sekundarni strani sinusna [2, 3]. Po standardu je določeno tudi maksimalno dopustno popačenje inducirane napetosti, ki ga podaja faktor oblike FF U (FF U = 1, 111 (1 ± 0, 01)). Na račun sinusnega poteka gostote magnetnega pretoka se poenostavi izraz za inducirano napetost, saj postane efektivna vrednost napetosti proporcionalna maksimalni vrednosti gostote magnetnega pretoka B U S =4, 44 ˆB f S FE N S, (4) kjer je f frekvenca inducirane napetosti. 2 Klasični merilni postopki Pri izpolnjevanju zahtev glede faktorja oblike inducirane sekundarne napetosti na splošno izhajamo iz dveh osnovnih merilnih metod. Prva temelji na uporabi vira sinusne napetosti, ki služi kot vir primarnega magnetilnega toka i P (slika 2). Pomanjkljivost relativno preproste rešitve je povezana z napetostnim padcem na primarni upornosti R P in na stresani induktivnosti primarnega navitja L σp, ki negativno vplivata na faktor oblike sekundarne inducirane napetosti. Principle of the power amplifier assisted measurement set-up Metoda sicer odpravi problem napetostnih padcev na primarni strani in ne zahteva kakšnih posebnih ukrepov glede dimenzioniranja primarnega navitja, pojavita pa se dva moteča dejavnika: (i) preostala enosmerna napetost močnostnega ojačevalnika (DC offset), ki povzroča enosmerno predmagnetizacijo testiranega jedra in s tem napačen rezultat meritve; (ii) nestabilno delovanje močnostnega ojačevalnika pri nizkoimpedančnem bremenu (v našem primeru testirano jedro s primarnim navitjem). V obeh primerih je torej treba poskrbeti za čim večje število primarnih in za doseganje točnosti meritve (4) tudi sekundarnih ovojev, kar pa ne omogoča preproste vključitve merjenca v merilni tokokrog. 3 Predlagana topologija merilnika Pri predlagani izvedbi merilnika magnetnih lastnosti toroidnih tračnih jeder smo za osnovo izbrali rešitev z močnostnim ojačevalnikom (MO), katerega delovanje je odvisno od razlike med želeno vrednostjo sekundarne napetosti (proporcionalna (4) maksimalni gos-

3 188 Petkovšek, Zajec, Vončina, Nastran toti B) in povratno informacijo o inducirani sekundarni napetosti (slika 4). Naš cilj je bil doseči stabilno delovanje močnostnega ojačevalnika in čim večjo natančnost meritev pri čim manjšem številu primarnih in sekundarnih ovojev. Slednja zahteva izhaja iz želje po preprosti in hitri namestitvi in zamenjavi (nov vzorec, nova meritev) merjenca v merilnem vezju. Pri tem je ena glavnih ovir velikost priključnega konektorja v primerjavi z notranjim premerom merjenca. Slika 4. Predlagana topologija merilnika Figure 4. Proposed experimental set-up Poleg močnostnega ojačevalnika sta v sklopu merilnika zajeta še mikroprocesor, ki skrbi za zajem merilnih veličin (tok, napetost) in posredovanje želene vrednosti inducirane sekundarne napetosti regulacijskemu krogu in nadzorni osebni računalnik. Slednji s pomočjo programske podpore v okolju LabView služi za vnos in izračun zahtevanih vhodnih parametrov (dimenzije jedra, želena delovna točka,...) ter za vizualno predstavitev merilnih rezultatov. Kot je razvidno iz blokovne sheme (slika 4), je problem preostale napetosti (DC offset) na izhodu močnostnega ojačevalnika minimiziran z vpeljavo nizkopasovnega filtra (f C = 2 Hz) v povratni zanki. Poleg tega je v vezju na izhodu močnostnega ojačevalnika nameščen še prilagodilni pomožni transformator Tr, ki skrbi za popolno odpravo preostale napetosti na merjencu. Prilagodilni transformator s primernim prestavnim razmerjem hkrati tudi omogoča stabilno delovanje močnostnega ojačevalnika pri nizkoimpedančnem bremenu (posledica zmanjševanja števila primarnih, kakor tudi sekundarnih ovojev na merjencu). Pomanjkljivost tako zasnovanega sistema se kaže v obveznem kompromisu med natančnostjo meritve, na katero vpliva število ovojev na merjencu, in zmožnostjo hitre in predvsem preproste vključitve merjenca v merilni tokokrog. Da bi se izognili omenjeni nevšečnosti, so tako v merilni veji (i P R N, u S ), kakor tudi v regulacijski povratni zanki (u S ) vgrajeni ojačevalniki z nastavljivim ojačenjem (PGA), ki zagotavljajo čim višje razmerje med koristnim signalom in motnjami. Ojačenje posameznih ojačevalnikov je določeno na podlagi vnešenih podatkov za merjeno jedro pred samim začetkom meritve, nastavljamo pa ga prek nadzornega mikroprocesorja. Tako smo število primarnih in sekundarnih ovojev lahko znižali na N P = N S = 2, kar omogoča preprosto vključitev merjenca v merilni tokokrog s pomočjo 4-pinskega konektorja. 4 Potek meritve Postopek ugotavljanja magnetnih lastnosti mehkomagnetnih toroidnih tračnih jeder se začne z vnosom podatkov jedra (zunanji in notranji premer, višina, polnilni faktor) in želene merilne točke magnetenja (maksimalna gostota B in gostota za poljubno točko na histerezni krivulji, frekvenca). V programskem okolju LabView na nadzornem osebnem računalniku se nato izračunajo in posredujejo (RS 232) zahtevani parametri za mikroprocesorski sistem. Proces meritve se začne s postopnim magnetenjem jedra, kar je izvedeno z zviševanjem želene vrednosti sekundarne inducirane napetosti od nič do izračunane vrednosti u S,REF (premosorazmerna maksimalni gostoti B). Dabi se izognili vplivom predhodnjega magnetenja, je smiselno magnetiti jedro do točke nasičenja (B = B max ), nato pa a) obdržati doseženi nivo magnetenja (B = B max = B REF 1 ), ali b) znižati magnetilni tok i P in s tem raven magnetenja na želeno vrednost B = B REF 2 s postopnim zniževanjem referenčne napetosti u S,REF. Core magnetization profile Med postopkom vzorčenja primarnega toka in inducirane sekundarne napetosti (512 točk na periodo), ki je izveden šele po nekaj periodah konstantnega magnetenja testiranca (kvazistacionarno stanje), se merilni rezultati shranjujejo na interne spominske lokacije mikroprocesorja. Postopek meritve se konča s postopnim razmagnetenjem jedra oziroma znižanjem referenčne napetosti na nič. Po prenosu merilnih rezultatov na osebni računalnik sledijo obdelava, izračun in prikaz zahtevanih veličin (dosežena efektivna poljska jakost H, faktor oblike inducirane napetosti, relativna permeabilnost, histerezna zanka).

Measurement results for a core ring 53/39/18 in the Labview application software 5 Eksperimentalni rezultati Predlagani merilni koncept ugotavljanja magnetnih lastnosti mehkomagnetnih toroidnih jeder smo preizkusili na več različnih primerkih jeder iz proizvodnega programa podjetja ISKRA SEM, d.o.o. (Ljubljana, Cesta dveh cesarjev). V nadaljevanju so prikazani merilni rezultati za toroidno jedro 53/39/18 (zunanji, notranji premer in višina jedra v milimetrih). Slika 6 kaže rezultate meritve jedra pri B = 1,6 T v okolju LabView. Meritev je bila izvedena pri frekvenci f = 50 Hz in pri polnilnem faktorju jedra k P = 0,9874. V tabeli 1 pa so za tri stopnje magnetenja (B = 1,6 T, B = 1,0TinB = 0,2 T) zbrani izračuni maksimalne gostote magnetnega pretoka B, efektivne poljske jakosti H, relativne permeabilnosti in faktorja oblike sekundarne inducirane napetosti. 6 Sklep V prispevku smo obravnavali problematiko merjenja magnetnih lastnosti mehkomagnetnih toroidnih tračnih jeder. Pri iskanju ustrezne rešitve smo izhajali iz zahteve po čim preprostejši in hitri vključitvi merjenca v merilni tokokrog, seveda ob čim večji natančnosti meritve. S predlagano topologijo smo uspešno odpravili preostalo napetost močnostnega ojačevalnika in problem nestabilnega delovanja ojačevalnika zaradi nizkoimpedančnega bremena. Potrebno število primarnih in sekundarnih ovojev smo znižali na minimum (N P = N S =2)ins tem omogočili preprosto vključitev merjenca v merilni tokokrog s pomočjo 4-pinskega konektorja. Measurement results for three different flux densities faktorja oblike od predpisanega je manjše od ± 1%, pogrešek (glede na B) pa je v razredu ± 0,5 %. Merilnik je namenjen meritvam magnetnih lastnosti tračnih mehkomagnetnih toroidnih jeder pri frekvenci 50 Hz z možnostjo razširitve merilnega območja od 20 Hz do 400 Hz. Sedaj je asistent na isti fakulteti in se ukvarja z mikroprocesorsko vodenimi motorskimi pogoni in polprevodniškimi močnostnimi viri na področju industrijske elektrotehnike. Peter Zajec je diplomiral leta 1994, magistriral pa leta 1997 na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko v Ljubljani. Leta 1999 je na isti fakulteti zagovarjal doktorsko disertacijo, za katero je prejel nagrado dr. Vratislava Bedjaniča. Zaposlen je kot asistent na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko, Laboratorij za regulacijsko tehniko in močnostno elektrothniko. Težišče njegovega raziskovalnega dela je na področju statičnih izmeničnih pretvornikov. Danijel Vončina je diplomiral leta 1989, magistriral leta 1992 in doktoriral leta 1996 na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko Univerze v Ljubljani, kjer je bil leta 1999 izvoljen za docenta za področja energetske elektronike, regulacijske tehnike in informacijske elektronike. Težišče njegovega delovanja je na področju aktivnih močnostnih filtrov in polprevodniških pretvornikov za elektrokemične procese. Janez Nastran je diplomiral leta 1971, magistriral pa leta 1977 na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko Univerze v Ljubljani. Leta 1985 je na isti fakulteti uspešno zagovarjal doktorsko disertacijo, za katero je prejel nagrado dr. Vratislava Bedjaniča. Težišče njegovega dela sta močnostna elektronika in regulacijska tehnika. Leta 1993 je dobil nagrado Republike Slovenije za znanstvenoraziskovalno delo. Leta 1996 je bil izvoljen za izrednega profesorja na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko v Ljubljani.
