PPLICTIONS Remote reading The meter can be read remotely and several readings from different meters may be performed at the same time. This allows different CIRWTT energy meters to be connected via RS-485 and data to be received via a PC or from a central data system. Data may also be received via a Modem using an RS-485 converter to Ethernet TCP/IP, etc. CIRWTT + QN Energy meter + supply quality measuring set allows energy consumption and electricity network supply quality to be monitored. Prepayment Prepayment solution using a recharging card to store and subsequently use energy in a meter. Q1-4
B centralised reading (water and gas / PD) The CIRWTT B has optional pulse inputs allowing the meter to take readings of different types of consumption at the same time (electricity, water, gas). Easy and intuitive data downloading from different meters via a portable reading terminal. Energy meters for billing Load shedding in B types The CIRWTT B has a digital output that may be used for applications such as power control, permitting load shedding when a predetermined power has been reached. The internal clock allows different power limitations according to the hourly tariff. Q1-5

SOFTWTT Software SOFTWTT software is a program designed for electricity supply companies, distributors, landlords and users authorized to program meters for energy billing. It is designed to confi gure CIRWTT meters and is structured with files to allow several meters to be set with the same confi guration. The program structure consists of several parts to set the different parameters, hourly differences, communications parameters, load curve recording period, input and output confi guration, etc. Sending the confi guration of each of these parameters may be performed partially. Tariffs / Contracts SOFTWTT allows up to three available contracts to be confi gured with the most complex rates. Both the active and the latent contracts may be configured (the latter being set with an operating start date). n annual calendar is set within each contract which is fixed with the change of the years. There are two types of calendars: Seasonal calendar: Two types of season are defi ned: winter and summer. The seasonal change coincides with the clocks changing Period calendar: This works by periods where an hourly profi le is selected for working days and another for weekends. There are 12 periods and 10 hourly profi les Holidays and special days are selected from the annual calendar to have different profiles to working days. (To be applied to the current year or subsequent years). ll profiles are easily and intuitively confi gured. To configure bill closures, a date and time for each month is selected for the equipment to perform an automatic closure. If this option is deactivated the equipment performs no closure. Sending / Receipt of configuration ll of the meter s configuration is received by indicating the measuring point, the link address and the access password. The parts of the configuration to be sent may be selected without the need to send it all. (Previously indicate the measuring point, the link address and the writing access password). Sending / receiving the confi guration may be done on site or remotely. Security The program allows V rious users with passwords to be confi gured. This allows access to different levels of the program. There are two protection levels: reas where only the writing password is required and areas where the writing password and unsealing the meter are required (setting transformation ratios for example). Q1-12
POWERWTT Software POWERWTT is software for distance reading and management of CIRWTT meters. This software increases the meter s performance allowing all recorded information to be used. POWERWTT software allows a large number of meters to be put into operation where each one links information on the customer and consumption. It also allows the automatic or manual downloading of devices, plus generating lists and bill simulations. It is an ideal tool for smaller distributors or energy consulting companies. Energy meters for billing Security There are different access levels to the program to protect all information that the POWERWTT reading software has. There are two types of user with access passwords: Those who can undertake all types of operations within the program Those who can only read the meters Communications Communication with the meters may be done in several ways: Modem. These may be used along with their start up chains, each one being independent for each modem Local communication. Using series ports, USB converters or via optical port, with CIRWTT Optical Reader (LOC) TCP / IP. Via a CIRCUTOR converter (TCRS), connected to the meter by an IP connection and the TCP / IP protocol Data base Information on each meter is stored in a data base, such as: Identifier Link address / Measuring Point / ccess Code / Password Telephone number Download type (manual / automatic) s of file to be automatically downloaded (per contract) No. of attempts for modem communication Reading constant Transformation ratios Resolution Serial number In another data base, each meter is linked by the following fields: Customer rea Company Tariff Group data reading Data may be manually or automatically read. The POWERWTT program has a sub-program (POWERWTT PDT) which is used for reading different equipment in the fi eld. This sub-program is linked to POWERWTT so that they can make several readings with POWERWTT PDT and then return the information to the central data base by importing the downloaded data. Q1-13
Energy tariffs POWERWTT allows the fl exible confi guration of energy tariffs, using an energy consumption profi le recorded by a CIRWTT meter as the original data. It is set by defi ning a yearly calendar, assigning a tariff period profi le to each type of day. Setting the calendars is fl exible and confi gurable by the user. The program includes several calendars which have been already set. The results may be displayed by: List Graph curve per period Receipt Receipts / Lists / Graphs Bill simulation may be done by applying a tariff designed in the POWERWTT program itself, or on the tariff used by the meter 's bill summary (bill closure) file and showing the result with the preset calculations on the bill. The bill may be printed off or sent by . Bills may be done automatically or manually. POWERWTT allows graphs to display: Hourly load curve ¼ Hourly load curve verage power curve during the 15 minutes (amounts calculated using the ¼ hourly load curve) Bill closures graph (by month, tariffed and not tariffed) Events For each graph the length of time they are displayed is selectable. Receipt List Graph Modes The program has a series of modes, such as: Importation or exportation of data in different formats Data base maintenance, selecting the maximum recording period Making security copies utomatic remote reading of meters: modem, GSM, TCP / IP Synchronisation of data read by TPL Load profi les and power curve graphs Bill summaries and consumption profiles, with possible add-ons utomatic billing based on summaries Billing and simulation according to quarter hourly consumption curves Software performance Q1-14
