3 SETY STANDARD ANSI Z establishes performance criteria and testing requirements for devices used to protect the eyes and face from injuries resulting from impact, non-ionizing radiation and chemical exposure in workplaces and schools. It covers all types of protector configurations including spectacles (plano and prescription), goggles, faceshields, welding helmets and full facepiece respirators. The ANSI Z standard is an update to the previous Z version which focuses on hazards at the workplace instead of the type of protective wear. 6 LENS TECHNOLOGY HD HC I/O P High Definition lenses provide crystal clear vision with most detail. Specially designed to filter damaging UV light and transmit colors in order to increase clarity within the light spectrum. HC-Blue / Natural Gray - These lenses are designed to lighten up your field of vision and make the contrast of colors more vivid. 7 Anti Fog lenses are covered with a special coating that activates when temperature change is detected. Whether you switch from cold to warm, or perspire more and cause your lenses to fog, the antifogging coating doesnt allow moist build up on the lens. All BXS lenses have anti fog coatings. Anti Scratch coatings are applied in order to protect the lens from minor scratches during everyday use. The coating bonds with the lens and reduces appearance of srcathes.
