1 Spectroradiometer specbos 1201 specbos 1201 is a precise and compact VIS spectroradiometer. It can be used in laboratory as well as production environment to measure the following quantities: Luminance, Radiance Illuminance, Irradiance xy and u v coordinates Dominate wavelength, Color purity Correlated Color Temperature Color Rendering Index Circadian metrics, Photosynthetically Active Radiation Luminous Intensity and Luminous Flux measuring heads are optional. 3 Light source Classification with Spectroradiometer specbos 1201 specbos 1201 is a precise spectroradiometer for the visible range. The compact unit measures luminance and illuminance as well as colorimetric values. In addition to the pass/ fail monitoring it is possible to classify light sources according to their xy chromaticity coordinates. The procedure consists of the preparation of the ranks and the measurement itself. 5 Spectroradiometer specbos 1201 flash specbos 1201 flash is a spectroradiometer which can measure continuously pulsed, single pulse as well as cw light sources. It can be used in laboratory and production environment to measure the following quantities: Luminous exposure (pulse) Luminance, radiance (cw) Illuminance, irradiance (cw) xy and u v coordinates Dominate wavelength, color purity Correlated Color Temperature Color Rendering Index Circadian metrics, photosynthetically active radiation (only cw) Pulsed sources are measured in illuminance mode using the diffusor cap. The instrument measures the cycletime of a pulsed source with an additional detector in the front face. The following spectral measurement will be synchronized with the measured lamp cycle. Radiometric and photometric values are indicated in exposure per puls. 7 Spectroradiometer specbos 1201 focus specbos 1201 focus allows the focused measurement of small light sources. It is available with different add-ons for spots of 3 mm, 1 mm and 0.5 mm diameter. The position and diameter of these spots are marked by a laser circle. The 0.5 mm add-on is fitted out with a magnifying glass to simplify the precise adjustment (see figure). specbos 1201 with focusing attachment for 0.5 mm All optics can easily be attached to the basic instrument by screwing. The optics version is automatically detected and the appropriate calibration data will be applied. 9 Installation of digital cinemas with spectroradiometer specbos 1201 During installation of digital cinemas it is necessary to adjust the color setting of the projector. This setting will be adapted to the individual circumstances of the audience and on the screen. specbos 1201 is ideally suited for the measurements which have to be done for the proper adjustment. specbos 1201 is a precise spectroradiometer for the visible range. The compact unit measures luminance as well as colorimetric values. The operation is very easy with the included software LiMeS. The measuring area is marked with a red cicle which can conveniently be seen on the projection screen (see figure). The measured colorimetric data can be transfered to the projector by the laptop (e.g. using WLAN). After the automatic correction of the projector settings a check measurement will be done to validate whether the specified data are maintained.
