9 Polarion's Dive Searchlight comes is 2 basic models. The "S" for Spot and "D" for Diffused. Each has been specifically designed and tuned for unique underwater applications. Although the Dual Abyss searchlight was designed for underwater use, it is absolutely at home for land-based illumination requirements. No concerns in terms of overheating with this searchlight when it's out of the water. Simply put, it is our smallest, most powerful, versatile, handheld searchlight in the line!!! Abyss "S" features an Orange Peel (stippled) Spot focused Reflector for use in underwater exploration, inspection, or sport-fishing applications. The "S" model has a Color temperature of 4300k useful for a wide variety of observation tasking. Abyss "D" features a Highly Diffused reflector for use in photographic/video applications underwater. 14 SPECIFICATIONS The Polarion Night Reaper Crew Served Weapon Light (CSWL) is a 50-watt, 5,200 lumen High Intensity Discharge (HID) Searchlight that simultaneously provides an unparalleled combination of long range and wide-angle illumination in both white and Infrared (IR) light. Unlike other lighting systems that involve the requirement of either manually or remotely rotating the bezel in order to provide either a narrow beam of bright light or a wide beam of pale light, the Night Reaper s pre-focused, long-arc Xenon-Metal gas-filled lamp and reflector provide a consistently intense beam that illuminates vast areas over great distances at the same time. Inherent within the Night Reaper CSWL is a built-in thermal controller that automatically regulates the light down to 40-watts and 4,200 lumens after approximately 5 minutes of CONSTANT ON use.
