From the parking lot to the walkway to the building façade, the Classics family makes light work, providing for the safety and security of employees, clients, and visitors to commercial and institutional properties such as shopping centres, school campuses and hospitals. Respect for our environment and our night time skies go hand in hand, based on the ultra efficient design of the post-top, which allows for generous spacing between poles, providing smooth and even illumination on the ground, while casting virtually no uplight. Mini post-tops deliver the same type of lighting efficiency on a smaller scale for bike paths or pedestrian malls, using mounting heights of 2-5. The stylish Wallcube shows respect for the eyes of the passer-by, with architectural appeal matched by photometric efficiency and comfortable light output. 3 Classics Series Complementary, Angled Styling The Classics Square, Round and Wallcube housings feature smooth rounded contours and a standard bronze finish to blend with the architectural environment and to complement modern building designs. Unlike many V luminaires, the Classics Post Top has no structural arms or supports to detract from its appearance or cast shadows. The exclusive lightweight non-metallic optical housing is heat and impact resistant injection molded upper half with a clear, UV-stabilized, non-yellowing impact resistant lens. Standard colour for the Classics Series is bronze Duraplex II TM polyester powder finish. They can also be specified to match virtually any colour. Application Versatility Classics Post Tops are available in a variety of mounting configurations to match application requirements. Single lamp models for parking lot and general area lighting tasks are available with symmetrical ( V) distribution for High Pressure Sodium and lamps. For perimeter and roadway applications an asymmetrical reflector system may be ordered which includes a house-side shield. For areas requiring higher levels of illumination Classics Post Top are available in a dual lamp version or can be installed on dual, triple or quad side mounting arms. Standard mounting for large models is a 4" OD pipe tenon. Standard mounting for Mini models is a 2 3 / 8" OD pipe tenon. Options are available for round pole mounting. Knockouts on the back of the Classics Wallcube housing are compatible with mounting boxes and provide for fast direct to building mounting. Provision allows for a /2" surface mounted conduit. Night-Friendly Lighting Light pollution and light trespass are growing concerns in many communities across North America. The Classics Wallcube, Classics Post Top Round and Classics Post Top Square are Night-Friendly lighting options meeting the IESNA full cut-off and cut-off criteria. 4 Classics Series Separate Ballast Compartment for Cooler Operation The ballast for Classics Post Top luminaires is located below the lamp in a unique enclosure that serves as both a ballast housing and universal mastfitter. This design assures cooler operation and longer life for the ballast components. The clean lines of the enclosure provide a smooth transition from luminaire to pole, without distracting support arms as well as easier installation of the lightweight optical housing. High Efficiency Optic System The Classics Post Top offers both initial and life cycle cost savings over typical post top luminaires. Only one V luminaire with its efficient square distribution pattern is required per pole. Most light is reflected only once, achieving superior primary path efficiency. In addition, the Classics Post Top uses an extra large high-purity specular aluminum reflector and vertical lamp configuration to achieve maximum peak intensities for HID light sources. Surface mounted wallcube optics deliver II distribution, resulting in the use of fewer fixtures per project. Vertical Lens Maximizes Light Transmission and Minimizes Dirt Depreciation The vertical lens of the Classics Post top maximizes light transmission by minimizing the amount of light that is reflected back into the optical chamber. A vertical lens allows maximum light to be transmitted at the beam angle and maintains higher illuminance levels because of its resistance to dirt accumulation. Fast Installation, Less Frequent and Easy Maintenance The Classics Series incorporates a variety of user-friendly features. Depending on configuration, captive and spring-loaded fasteners and integrated hinges contribute to easy installation and maintenance.
