2 Opalux Privacy Screening Films Description Opalux translucent privacy screening films are used to give two-way privacy without seriously reducing the natural light level. These films have a finely textured matt finish, and are applied to new or existing glass. Applications For both new build and refurbishment projects, Opalux privacy screening films offer a cost effective and flexible alternative to traditional acid-etching, sandblasting or printing. These films allow freedom in the initial glass specification, with privacy being allocated later, when and where it is required. This is of great advantage when compared to acid-etching or screenprinting as Opalux films can be quickly and easily applied on site without removing the glass. Applying Opalux privacy films gives you the option to remove, replace or update designs in the future, if required. combined with attractive bespoke designs, use Opalux films with cut-outs to your own specifications. As well as adding a distinctive designer style to your office interior, this allows some through-vision for reception areas and meeting rooms, where total screening is not required, but a degree of privacy and a high light transmission are desirable. 3 Opalux Manifestation Films Description Opalux Glass Manifestation film products are for upgrading glazing in accordance with Health & Safety recommendations which advocate the marking of large uninterrupted glazed areas; specifically, the Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1992, Regulation 14 states that: Every window or other transparent or translucent surface in a wall or partition... door or gate shall, where necessary for reasons of health or safety... be appropriately marked or incorporate features so as, in either case, to make it apparent. Miniature logos in acid-etched film, are an excellent solution, providing the needed safety marking and at the same time discreetly reinforcing the company s visual identity to employees and visitors alike. 4 Opalux Graphics Films Description Opalux films can also be used to produce personalised window graphics for long-term or temporary application to glass. Standard printed colours are white on clear and bronze on clear as illustrated; special colours can be produced subject to a minimum order quantity. These printed polyester films have a durable scratch resistant coating and can be cleaned using normal nonabrasive cleaning methods. Please note: Printed patterns are shown at 80% of actual size.
