4 SECTION 2: Australian National Maritime Museum Award for Water Medium paintings WINNER No. 194 Collectors Corner by Gloria Galvin Judges Comment A complex watercolour nicely composed and good use of the paper to give light and transparency. No. 249 Queensland Blues by Julie Simmons A well-drawn and composed watercolour. No. 186 Timeless by Hui Shelly Du A small, well painted, watercolour with nice lost and found edges and wet into wet washes.
