5 Different types of textures In your drawing book, you re going UNIT 7 worksheet 7.3 APRIL 06 MAKE-UP to create new textures using different support materials and techniques. First, choose the materials that you can need. E.g. sandpaper, watercolour paper, cardboards, cotton, several piece of fabric etc. and of course, some techniques like ink, crayon, acrylic colours, waxes.. Obtain several textures by rubbing, drawing, cutting fabrics, cotton, metalic paper etc.. Cut several rectangle-shaped piece of material (equal size) and apply or glue the materials more appropriate in order to create amazing textures. Finally, stick onto your worksheet. 6 Colour value scheme In the exercise, we are going to review the pigment colours present in a colour wheel. In this case, you have to make up your own with primary and secondary colours but looking for obtain progressive changes of value (adding white little by little).
