Sew the strips together and trim to make the 61 x 61 back.

4 My Sewing Room Quilt 2 Sewing nstructions 1. Sew (1) 2 x 7 ½ abric strip to each side of (1) 7 ½ abric A block. Sew (1) 2 x 10 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the abric A block. Trim the block to measure 9 ½ square to make (1) A block (ig. 1). Repeat to make (5) A blocks total. ig. 1 make 5 A Trim the block to measure 9 ½ x 9 ½ after the borders are added 2. Place (1) 3 ½ abric square on the top left corner of (1) A block, right sides together (ig. 2). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (ig. 2). lip open the triangle formed and press (ig. 3). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼ away from the sewn seam. 5. Sew (1) abric triangle, (1) abric D triangle and (1) abric G triangle together to make (1) DG unit (ig. 6). Repeat to make Row Three. 10. Sew (4) 3 x 9 ½ abric D strips, (2) lock Twos and (1) lock One together to make Row Two. 11. Sew the (4) sashing strips and (3) rows, in numerical order, together alternating them, to make the quilt top. 12. enter (1) 8 ½ x 57 abric strip on one side of the quilt top and pin in place. Start sewing the strip a ¼ from the top edge of the quilt top and stop a ¼ from the bottom edge. DO NOT TRM THE EXESS. Repeat with the opposite side. 13. Repeat Step 12 to sew (1) 8 ½ x 57 abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top, making sure to stop and start ¼ away from each end of the quilt top. To miter each corner, fold the quilt top on a diagonal, wrong side together. This should line up the strips from adjacent sides (ig. 9). 14. Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in igure 9), draw a 45-degree line to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼ seam. Repeat this step with the remaining corners. 15. Layer and quilt as desired. 16.
