4 eace on arth uilt 1 ewing nstructions 1. lace (1) 2 ½ abric square on the left side of (1) 2 ½ x 4 ½ abric strip, right sides together (ig. 1). ew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (ig. 1). lip open the triangle formed and press (ig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼ seam allowance. ig. 1 ig lace another 2 ½ abric square on the right side of the 2 ½ x 4 ½ abric strip, right sides together (ig. 3). ew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (ig. 3). lip open the triangle formed and press (ig. 4).
