9 Annexure: Assessment Criteria Assessment Criteria Job Role Qualification Pack G&J/Q0610, v1.0 Sector Skill Council Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India Sr. Guidelines for Assessment No. 1 Criteria for assessment for each Qualification Pack will be created by the Sector Skill Council. Each Performance Criteria (PC) will be assigned marks proportional to its importance in NOS. SSC will also lay down proportion of marks for Theory and Skills Practical for each PC. 2 The assessment for the theory part will be based on knowledge bank of questions created by the SSC. 3 Individual assessment agencies will create theory question papers for candidates at every examination/training centre. (as per assessment criteria below). 4 Individual assessment agencies will create practical tests for skill evaluation for candidates at every examination/training centre. (as per assessment criteria below). 5 To pass the Qualification Pack, every candidate should score a minimum 70% of aggregate marks to successfully clear the assessment. 6 In case of successfully passing only certain number of NOSs, the candidate is eligible to take subsequent assessment on the balance NOSs to pass the Qualification Pack. 7 In case of unsuccessful completion, the trainee may seek reassessment on the Qualification Pack

G&J/N0610 Make the jewellery frame PC1.estimate accurately precious metal or alloy required as per design considering metal loss in the subsequent processes and final product weight PC2. assess component types and quantities required PC3. make accurate replica as per the design with minimum rework PC4. achieve weight, size and detailing dimensions as per the design PC5. deliver soldered, assembled components or frame to subsequent processes like cleaning, polishing, buffing on time PC6. complete wok with minimum hazards and accidents PC7. achieve smooth finish and safe to wear ornament PC8. make strong but flexible joints PC9. achieve clean soldering without damage to frame PC10. achieve improved productivity and quality as per design requirement PC11. maintain loss limit as per company s loss margin policy PC12. undertake regular precious metal dust cleaning as prescribed by company PC13. account for loss and maintain related documentation PC14. maintain utility factor required for ease of wearing and safety PC15. ensure that joints are firm and flexible and frame is even
