4 AGENDA Wednesday, 7th March Address by Registrar of Credit Unions Patrick Casey, Registrar of Credit Unions, Central Bank of Ireland Patrick Casey was appointed Registrar of Credit Unions on 23 October Patrick was previously Head of Resolution. He has represented the Central Bank at the Single Resolution Board Plenary Session and the European Banking Authority s Resolution Committee since inception. Prior to joining the Central Bank, Patrick held of number of roles in investment banking in London Financial Services Pensions and Ombudsman Update Ger Deering, Financial Services & Pensions Ombudsman Ger Deering was appointed Financial Services Ombudsman in 2015 and Pensions Ombudsman in Both offices were merged on the 1st of January 2018 when Ger became the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman. Jackie has worked in the UK, Belfast, Ireland in the following financial services sectors - banking, insurance, credit unions and the private corporate sector for over 20 years.
