1 2014 Board Elections - Candidate Biographies Robin Suggs has 25 years of shopping center industry experience, the majority of which have been with Simon Property Group. She currently holds the position of Area Mall Manager at Lenox Square; responsibilities include the day to day operations of the shopping center as well as the oversight of Phipps Plaza. An Atlanta native and graduate of Georgia State, Robin resides in Morningside/Lenox Park with her family. In addition to being on the Board of Directors for Livable Buckhead, Robin has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Buckhead Community Improvement District since Bill Hollett - As senior vice president for leasing with Cousins Properties, William (Bill) Hollett is responsible for a number of the company s Atlanta Class A office properties, including One Ninety One Peachtree, the American Cancer Society building, Terminus and Promenade. Over the past 24 years, Bill has established his expertise in leasing, management and operations of Class A office properties and has been directly involved in the successful completion of more than 4 million square feet of leases, as well as leadership and support of successful leasing teams. Prior to joining Cousins Properties, Bill was a managing director/ senior vice president and officer with Parkway Properties in 2011, where he was the Atlanta market leader responsible for all profit and loss activities, strategic planning and market representation. As a senior vice president of the Atlanta region with Eola Capital LLC, he managed the company s portfolio, including leasing and operations for 5.5 million square feet of properties. Prior to Eola, Bill worked with America s Capital Partners from 2007 until its merger with Eola. Bill also held executive level positions with Equity Office, where he worked for 15 years. Under his leadership, the regional leasing teams averaged more than 1 million square feet of leasing per year in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Durham, Norfolk and Orlando. Prior to Equity Office, he was the senior leasing director for Mansur Development in Indianapolis. - Community Involvement: Bill currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Holy Innocents Episcopal School, the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP (Immediate Past President-2011) and the 2012 Board of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. In addition, he is active with the Central Atlanta

2 - Progress, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Holy Innocents Episcopal Church. - Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas Lisa Dwyer - Lisa serves on the Board of the Atlanta Speech School, her local PTA and the Prevent Child Abuse Georgia Advisory board. In addition she volunteers with Trees Atlanta, CHOA Hope & Will ball, the Women s community Leadership Alliance and the Junior League of Atlanta where she served as president Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Lisa and her husband, Jim, live in Buckhead and have two children. Craig Lesser, Managing Partner for Pendleton Consulting a consulting firm that focuses in economic development at the local state and international scales self described as a force multiplier and a well worn rolodex o Managing Director McKenna Long Aldridge o Commissioner of economic development for the State of Georgia o Georgia Power - Vice President of Government and regulatory Affairs David Lightburn, President Atlanta Tech Village, Co-founder Clickscape David is the visionary and Managing Broker of Clickscape which is an Atlanta-based real estate brokerage focused on better real estate search and service. Clickscape provides access to all available MLS information giving buyers a chance to search like an agent and then connects you directly with local real estate agents to help guide you through the entire homebuying process. David has been in real estate as a Realtor and broker for over 5 years, is licensed in 4 states, and has an appraiser s license. In 2009, he got together with David Cummings, strapped on the tool belts, and set to work to fix all that is broken in real estate. And yes, he used to play basketball.

3 Bob Hughes, Principal with HGOR Bob guides the firm s planning and design efforts. He speaks both the economic language of clients and the bigidea language of planners and designers. Education: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, University of Georgia, 1977, Magna Cum Laude Lee Walker, Morris Manning Martin - Homer Lee Walker is a partner in the Real Estate Development & Finance and Real Estate Capital Markets & Alternative Investments practices where he focuses on the development and operational aspects of a broad range of commercial real estate projects, including complex mixed-use projects, as well as formation and capitalization of joint venture platforms and investment funds. His clients include leading national REITs and developers, among them Atlanta-based Regent Partners, the developer of Buckhead s award winning 50-story Sovereign Building. Mr. Walker is featured as one of the leading Georgia lawyers for real estate in Chambers USA: America s Leading Lawyers for Business ( ) and is listed for excellence in commercial real estate in The Best Lawyers in America ( ) and Super Lawyers as noted by Atlanta magazine ( ). He is a frequent speaker on developer-oriented topics at legal and real estate industry events, including the legal issues surrounding LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification. Greg Chafee is a partner in the Corporate Transactions & Securities Practice and the Energy Group of Thompson Hine. He is also Co-Chair of the Water Group. Greg s practice covers a wide range of domestic and international corporate, commercial, transactional, regulatory compliance and governance matters, with a focus on energy project development, clean technology, and sustainability programs, policies and initiatives. Greg previously served as the first Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of DS Waters of America and Danone Waters of North America, and associate general counsel for Georgia-Pacific Corporation, representing market leading consumer products brands worldwide. He has extensive experience with project development in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Greg has served as a Livable Buckhead board member for three years.

4 Kathy Robb Program Manager, AGL Resources AGL Resources is the parent company of Atlanta Gas Light, Chattanooga Gas, Elkton Gas, Elizabeth Town Gas, Florida City Gas, and Virginia Natural Gas. AGL Energy Services is a program under AGLR that manages the UESC projects for the LDC s. As program manager for AGL Energy Services, Kathy leads the effort to create business partnerships to support customers in their journey to reduce their use of natural resources, demonstrate social stewardship, and improve their environment. She also assists the Director in the development and execution of short and long-term business plans and accurate forecasts for financial objectives. Kathy has over 20 years in the performance contracting and energy conservation market, managing teams through the development of large, complex, or strategic regional projects from inception through close. She has also served on the Livable Buckhead Board of Directors for two years and is an active participant in the Better Buildings Challenge Program playing a lead role in its implementation. David Skelton is Vice President of Investments Operations. His responsibilities include overseeing the sustainable efforts for Gables development projects, reviewing monthly reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency, and coordinating special projects. Dave has been with the company for 23 years and prior to that worked for two general contractors in the commercial construction industry. He is actively involved with the Atlanta Apartment Association and also serves on the Board for Livable Buckhead, Inc. Dave received his BS degree in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology. Dave has served as a board member of Livable Buckhead since inception and currently serves on the Finance Committee. Sandy Godwin is the Managing Director for the Atlanta office for Executive compensation consulting firm Pearl Meyer & Partners. Godwin recently was a principal and partner with Mercer, where he was the executive compensation practice leader for the Atlanta office. He has worked with a wide variety of publicly traded and privately held companies in most major industries. He has also served on the board of the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association for many years and is a founding board member of Livable Buckhead serving as the organization s Treasurer.

5 Sally Silver is all about the outdoors. She recycles, uses organic products on her lawn and plants trees. Silver serves as staff to City Councilman Howard Shook and currently serves on Development Review Committees for three special interest zoning districts in the Buckhead Community. Silver is a neighorhood activist who has served on Neighborhood Planning Unit-B since 1998 as well as other local associations. She is a long time board member of the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association as well as founding board member of Livable Buckhead. She lives in north Buckhead with her husband, Herb, a physical therapist, and Jazz, a dog, and Jefferson, a cat both from the Atlanta Humane Society. Bob Stoner Bob has over 31 years of experience in commercial real estate specializing in the leasing and management of office buildings, business parks, and retail space prior to retiring. Most recently, Bob opened the office and served as Regional Vice president for Eola Capital, with previous positions such as Regional Vice President at the Rubenstein Company overseeing their portfolio of office buildings, business parks, retail space and apartments; Director of Leasing at Colony Square for both Premisys Real Estate Services and Carter; Leasing Manager at Peachtree Center for the Portman companies and Leasing Manager for Koger Properties. Bob was a member of the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association for over a decade, serving as chairman for 4 years; a former board member of the Clean Air Campaign; a business representative on NPUB, and is the founding chairman of Livable Buckhead, Inc. Bob is married to Janet, has a daughter and a son and is a very involved grandfather to Grant with two more grandchildren on the way. Mica Hill, Executive Director, Atlanta Pet Rescue Micarl Hill Mica is a 36-year hotelier working and managing hotels in cities including San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Boston and locally was Managing Director of the Mansion on Peachtree responsible for directing the transition of this Four Star Hotel to become the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. Most recently Mica was Sr. Vice President of Forbes Travel Guide which is the group that rates hotels, resorts, inns, spas and restaurants using a Five Star rating system that has been the gold standard since His community involvement in addition to his board seat and volunteer role for Atlanta Pet Rescue includes his community contribution and board seat on Livable Buckhead a seat he has served since moving to Atlanta in He is also an active and passionate supporter and is on the Atlanta Advisory Group of Heifer International and Compassion International. In February 2014 Mica decided to change his path wanting to do

6 something more significant in his life, and became the Executive Director of Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption. He brings his hotelier background and marketing tenacity to the world of shelter management and follows his passion for animal welfare. Mica and his wife of over 30-years, Laureen Hill reside in Midtown and adopted a Wheaten Terrier mix from APRA in January of this year. He remains a voting member of the Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption Board of Directors. Gordon Certain, President North Buckhead Civic Association As a retired manager of business systems at Lockheed and an early expert on computers, Gordon uses those high tech and organizational skills in countless ways to serve the neighborhood. He s co-written city ordinances, helped win legal battles against powerful developers, and was instrumental in protecting several acres of valuable green space as public park land. Gordon serves as the President of the North Buchead Civic Association worked with three other neighborhood presidents to form the Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods which includes 28 Buckhead neighborhoods. Certain serves as their secretary and parks chair.
