Allen graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree from Texas A&M University in December 2003 before pursuing his legal education at Texas Tech University where he earned his J.D. as well as his M.B.A. in Jeffrey has been with the law firm of Wetsel, Carmichael & Allen in Sweetwater, Texas since graduation with a practice focusing primarily on oil and gas title examination as well as wind and other renewable energy law focusing primarily on landowner representation. Other practice areas also include civil litigation and other matters inherent in a small town practice. Licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico, he has served as the President of the Nolan County Bar Association and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. 2 JONATHAN D. BAUGHMAN Jonathan D. Baughman is a partner in the Houston office of McGinnis Lochridge. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana and received his B.S. degree from Louisiana Tech University, magna cum laude, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School where he was the managing editor of the Loyola Law Review. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Baughman worked as a certified public accountant in the energy section for a major international public accounting firm and later as an internal auditor for a major natural gas pipeline company. Mr. Baughman chairs his firm s oil and gas practice group and represents clients in a wide variety of oil and gas litigation in federal and state courts. Mr. Baughman is AV (highest) rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly. Mr. Baughman has litigated disputes involving joint operating agreements, gas processing agreements, leases and other agreements. He has litigated many oil and gas issues related to title, lease covenants, implied and express covenants to pool, royalty payments, COPAS, natural gas trading, reservoir damage, well blowouts, and misappropriation of seismic data. Mr. Baughman has written articles and spoken on numerous oil and gas issues before the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, the Institute for Energy Law, and the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute as well as other organizations. Mr. Baughman previously served as the Chair of the Oil & Gas Section of the Houston Bar Association. He is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and was appointed as one of 25 distinguished Advisory Board Members for the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute.

He is a leader in the field of oil and gas title examination and is a past chair of the Texas State Bar Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section. His experience includes all aspects of oil and gas title and transactional matters, involving fee, state and federal lands in both Texas and New Mexico. He has been a frequent speaker on oil and gas topics before legal and industry groups and has been a member, since its inception, of the joint editorial board for the development of title examination standards established by the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Sections of the State Bar of Texas. 6 Terry Cross is a founding partner of McClure & Cross LLP, established in 2008, and practices in the Dallas office of that firm. He has over 35 years experience in providing legal counsel to the oil and gas industry as in-house counsel in a major oil company, partner in a large law firm energy practice and now in the boutique oil and gas firm of McClure & Cross. 8 Allen D. Cummings is a solo practitioner with offices in Houston and San Antonio, Texas. He received his J.D. degree from the Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas (1974) and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Martin represents clients involved in oil and gas drilling, exploration, production and distribution. His experience with transactions includes the negotiation and documentation of oil and gas leases for lessors and lessees; exploration and seismic agreements; IADC and AIPN, as well as non-standard forms of onshore and offshore drilling agreements, farmouts, and carried interest transactions, processing and refining agreements; master service agreements (including indemnity and anti-indemnity issues); domestic and international joint operating agreements; production contracts; distribution agreements; coalbed methane gas exploration and production; horizontal and shale drilling and a wide range of gas contracting, balancing and transportation issues and financing vehicles. Hosey has more than 33 years of experience representing clients in the energy and natural resources area. He has advised clients concerning all aspects of exploration, production, transportation, processing, sale and marketing of oil and gas and other natural resources. Mr. Hosey not only advises clients with regard to oil and gas matters, but also has many years experience with regard to the exploration, production, transportation and leasing of hard minerals, including coal and uranium. Kilburn was born in Houston, Texas on December 4, 1952, and admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1982 and the Texas Bar in Mr. Kilburn is admitted to practice before all State Courts in Louisiana and Texas, as well as the United States Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, all Federal District Courts in Louisiana, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. He received a B.A., with Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin in He attended law school at Louisiana State University, where he received a Juris Doctorate in He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Louisiana Bar Association, and Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit. He is a life member of the University of Texas Exes, a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Campanile Charities, Inc. He is an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, as well as Houston, West Houston (past president) and Oklahoma City Associations of Petroleum Landmen. He is a frequent speaker before legal and landmen groups in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma involving legal issues relating to oil and gas exploration, pooling and production.
