2 President Behram Kasad, BEng (Hons), MBA, PMP Behram received his bachelor s of engineering degree from Nottingham Trent University in England and is MBA in Innovation, Strategy, Information, and Technology from Theseus-Edhec in France. He has been a PMI and Eastern Iowa Chapter member since Behram has also served on the Chapter Board as the Director of Newsletter (2010), VP of Communications and Publicity (2011), VP of Education (2012), and as the 2013 President.

3 Communications & Publicity Irene Dymerski, PMP Irene has project management experience in government contracts, financial transaction processing, IT infrastructure, and manufacturing. Irene currently works as a senior project manager in Information Management Finance and Operations at the University of Iowa. She received her B.A. from the University of Toronto. In addition to earning her PMP in 2001, Irene also possesses Scrum Master and ITIL certifications. Previously, she was an active member of the PMI Central Ohio Chapter, where she was an instructor of Certification classes and VP of Community Education for 3 years. Irene has been a PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter member since 2011, and has served as the Director of Newsletter and Director of Certifications. She also served as a member of the committee that selected and implemented our web platform.

5 Finance Mary Phelan, MBA, PMP Mary has over 28 years of experience in the semiconductor, transportation, aerospace, and financial services industries. She received her bachelor s degree in accounting at Washington State University and her master s degree in business administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Mary is currently a senior project manager at TEKsystems, and received her PMP in Mary was formerly a member of the Puget Sound PMI Chapter in Seattle, WA. She has been a member of the Eastern Iowa Chapter since 2007 and previously served as VP of Outreach.

6 Operations Patty Collins, PMP Patty has over 27 years of management experience in the telecommunications and aerospace industries where she has been both a front line manager and project manager. She is currently a senior project manager at TransAmerica and previously served as a senior IT project manager for Rockwell Collins where she managed International, HR, IT, System Analysis and Program Development (SAP) & Product Data Management (PDM) related projects. Patty earned her bachelor s degree and MBA from Mount Mercy University and achieved her PMP certification in She currently serves as the VP of Operations for the chapter.

7 Outreach Darwin Hochstedler, PMP Darwin has been a member of the PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter since He previously served the chapter as the Director of Logistics. Darwin has been instrumental in expanding outreach efforts through his support of the Kirkwood Global Education Network project in 2012 and in establishing a recurring dialogue with the University of Iowa College of Business to promote project management as a profession. Darwin currently works as an account manager with the Baker Group.

8 Past President Carol Scherrman, MBA, PMP Carol has been a member of the PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter since She previously served as the Director of Professional Development, of Operations, and the chapter President (2012). Carol received her PMP certification in 2009 and holds a degree in Finance from the University of Texas Arlington and an MBA from the University of Dubuque. She is currently a program manager in the PMO office at General Dynamics Information Technology.
