1 VPMA Board Election Bios For Officer Positions: Nick Lupini - Loyal Termite & Pest Control, Inc., Richmond, VA for the office of President Nick currently serves as the President of Loyal Termite & Pest Control in Richmond, VA. In 1977, Nick started in the pest control industry serving, over the years, as Route and Termite Technician, Sales Representative and Sales Manager, Vice President, then President of Loyal. He holds his VPMA WDI Certification. Nick has served on VPMA s Board of Directors for the last seven years and currently holds an officer s position as Vice President, chairing the Education Committee. He is a past chair of VPMA s Safety Committee and continues to serve on CVPMA s Grievance Committee. He has been on NPMA s WDO Committee for the past seven years, and is presently serving his 3 rd year as Chair. He also serves on NPMA s new Super Committee. He currently is serving his second two-year term on the NPMA Quality Pro Board of Directors. He resides with his wife, Gena, in Richmond, VA. Rhonda Elmore - Commonwealth Exterminators, Inc., Lawrenceville, VA for the office of Vice President Rhonda is the Vice President of Operations at Commonwealth Exterminators, Inc. in Lawrenceville, where she has been employed for 18 years. Literally growing up in the industry, she is a Past-President of the Central Virginia Pest Management Association, and currently serves on the Virginia Pest Management Association Board of Directors, serving as chairperson of Scholarship Committee, and serves on the Pubic Relations Committee. Rhonda is also a past member of NPMA Leadership Development Group, and Professional Women in Pest Management. Rhonda resides in Bracey, Virginia with her 19 year old son, Austin. Outside of the industry and in her community, she is an active member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Lake Gaston Junior Women s Club, and serves on the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association s Board of Directors. Keith McCormick, ACE - A-Active Termite & Pest Control, Virginia Beach, VA for the office of Secretary Keith McCormick is the District Manager for A-Active Termite & Pest Control, an Ehrlich Company, in Virginia Beach. He started with A-Active in 2005 as a field technician and has served as A-Actives Operation Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. He has been actively involved in the Pest Management Industry since May He places emphasis on training and proactive quality assurance. He holds the designation of Associated Certified Entomologist from the Entomological Society of America. Keith holds the VDACS pesticide applicators license for general pest and wood destroying insects. In addition, he is a VPMA Certified WDI Inspector. He has completed Purdue University Pest Management Technology program. Keith is a

2 Director on the VPMA Board, where he chairs the Public Relations Committee. He also serves on the NPMA s Leadership Development Group. Prior to the pest management industry, he served 8 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Specialist. Brian Delaney, ACE - ProTech Termite and Pest Control of Virginia, Inc., Springfield, VA for the office of Treasurer Brian Delaney began his career in the Pest Management industry in 1979 as a Pest Management Technician. His initial position was in the field of commercial pest management. In early 1980 he was promoted to Wood Destroying Insect Inspector and remained at that position for nearly three years. In August 1982 he was transferred to Virginia Beach, Virginia to open a branch office at that location for his past employer. Mr. Delaney remained as Branch Manager at this location until his promotion in August 1985 to Branch Manager at that company s largest location in Falls Church, Virginia. In 1987 when Brian s employer was purchased by an out-of-state firm he founded ProTech Pest Control. In 1996 he joined with James Selnow and Stephen Dodge to form ProTech Pest Control of Virginia where he remains as CEO. Mr. Delaney is currently the Treasurer of the Virginia Pest Management Association and works on the Nominations, Compensation and Public Relations committees. He is a past president of VPMA, also serving in the past as Director, Secretary, Vice President and Immediate Past President. He is a past recipient of the VPMA Industry Lifetime Stewardship Award. He has worked extensively throughout the pest management industry as a consultant and expert. Neal Straker - ProTech Termite and Pest Control of Virginia, Inc., Springfield, VA for the office of National Representative Neal began his career in the pest management industry when he joined ProTech in November 2007 as the Fredericksburg Office Branch Manager. Neal was promoted to ProTech s General Manager position in December Prior to joining ProTech, Neal successfully owned and operated a printing and engraving company in Alexandria, Virginia for 23 years. Married for thirty-six years, Neal and Alice along with their three (grown and successful) children have always lived in Northern Virginia. Neal s past community involvement has included being President of the Holmes Run Valley Citizens' Association; in that capacity Neal spearheaded a community group to successfully advocate with the Fairfax County Park Authority regarding the community s interests in the development of the John C. & Margaret K. White Horticultural Park. Additionally, Neal is a Past Chairman of the Northern Virginia Swimming League Automation Advisory Committee; the committee was responsible for the league s technology development. Neal also served as Treasurer for the Fairfax County Mason District s first elected School Board Member. Presently, Neal has served as a member of the VPMA Board since October 2012 and serves as Chairman of the VPMA Nominations Committee.

3 Jason Leonard - Forshaw, Inc. Jason is currently in his 21st year with Forshaw, Inc. He is the Western Regional Sales Manager, overseeing the Richmond, VA, Nashville, TN, and Cincinnati, OH locations. Jason is heavily involved with the local associations across the state of Virginia and has been on the VPMA Board for over 14 years, which he still considers a major priority. In that time, he has chaired the Conference Committee and the Supplier Relations Committee playing a vital role in building VPMA s relationship with our supplier members. Jason lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, Suzy, their three children and their one dog. For the position of Director, with 5 people being elected: Jim Boggs - Pure Environmental, Harrisonburg, VA I started working in pest management for my parents company in Charleston, WV when I was 19 years old. One would think that being the owner s son I would have started at the top but I didn t. Being the son of the owners I had to prove myself to the other employees and to myself. I started as a termite tech helper, and over 17 years I worked my way up the ladder holding every position that was available in the industry. When I was 36 my wife and son moved to Virginia when I took a position as Branch Manager for PermaTreat Pest Control. I was with PermaTreat for 9 years. Currently I am the Regional Manager for Pure Environmental, covering Virginia and West Virginia. By working at every position in this industry I have a great respect for hard work and customer service. I have a passion for working with people and solving problems. I feel that we as an industry are more in the people business than in the bug business. Calvin Kennon, Jr., ACE - Specialty Exterminating Company, Madison Heights, VA As a second generation Pest Management Professional, I grew up in the business and therefore in the industry. I started out sweeping floors, washing the company trucks, and hearing about sales deals. After graduating high school in 1990, I joined the family business as a full time termite technician. A few years later I moved to a pest control route and then to sales. In 1998, my parents retired and I assumed the role of General Manager. In keeping with the spirit of best serving our customers, I continued to earn credentials to ensure as a company we stayed on top of the industry best practices. Credentials earned were WDI Certification, VPMA Master Technician, Associated Certified Entomologist, and most recently Certified Basic Wildlife Operator and NWCOA bat standards. I felt it was also important to serve our community in other roles, so in 2014, I began serving on the Amherst County Economic Development Authority and currently serve as Chairman. My wife Sabrina and I reside in Madison Heights, VA and she serves as our business operations manager.

4 Tom Mares - Mares Exterminating Co. LLC, Poquoson, VA Tom is a fifteen-year veteran of the pest control industry. He founded Mares Exterminating in 2004 at the age of 24 and has taken it from a one-man operation to a full-service pest control company with a home repair division. Mares Contracting began as a small part of the company, only addressing wood rot and substructure repair. Over time, this division has evolved into a full service remodeling and repair company with a Class-A Contractors License. Tom has been a member of the Tidewater Pest Control Association since 2007 and has held several key leadership positions. He currently serves as the National Representative on VPMA s Board and chairs the WDI Committee. He resides in Gloucester with his wife Natalie and two children. When Tom isn t working or spending time with family, he can usually be found volunteering his time supporting local charities and other groups that benefit our local community. Mike Morris - Integrity Pest Solutions, LLC, Chester, VA Mike is president of Integrity Pest Solutions, LLC, and has been in the Pest Management Industry for over nineteen years. In 2007 Mike and his wife Patricia founded Integrity Pest Solutions, serving Richmond Metro and Central Virginia with commercial and residential pest management solutions. Mike and Patricia are both US Army Veterans. Mike begin his career in the industry as an Inside Sale Rep for one of our major distributors. While there for 10 years, he served as a Technical Account Representative, Distributer Rep to the VPMA, as well as Richmond Branch Manager. Mike became a registered technician in 2001, Certified Commercial Applicator in 2003, Certified Wood Destroying Inspector in 2004, and a VPMA Master Technician in Mike completed the Purdue University Pest Management course in He currently serves on the CVPMA Board of Directors and is involved in youth athletics, community, and religious organizations. Mike holds a BA Degree in Business Administration. Mike has been married for 35 years, has 2 daughters and three grandchildren. Mike s motto is Faith, Family, Fellowship, and Fun!!! David Outhous - RichPro Pest Management, Inc., Glen Allen, VA Dave is the President of RichPro Pest Management, Inc. located in Glen Allen, VA. Dave began his career in the pest management industry when he and his wife, Melissa, purchased Richmond Professional Termite & Pest Control in They completely re-branded the company as RichPro by overhauling its image and operations. Dave holds a VDACS commercial applicators certificate for both general pest and wood destroying insect categories. He is also a VPMA Certified WDI Inspector. Dave has been active with the Central Virginia Pest Management Association since 2007 and has served on its board since He is currently the President of the CVPMA. He is also serving on the VPMA Board as the CVPMA Liaison. Dave has served on several VPMA committees in the past and is presently chairing the Information & Technology committee. He and Melissa have been married for 23 years and have four children. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, CrossFit, and running.

5 John Reid - Accel Pest and Termite Control, Virginia Beach, VA John is the founder and co-owner of Accel Pest and Termite Control located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area, John first began work in the Pest Control field in 2001 with Terminix International in Canton, Ohio, and later went to work for Terminix / MSC relocating to Virginia Beach Virginia. In 2010 John and his business partner formed Accel Pest and Termite Control which currently serves the Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, and Greater Richmond Areas. A 1997 graduate of Mount Union College, John earned a B.A. while majoring in Sport Business Administration and Physical Education. John has been an active member of the Tidewater Pest Control Association since 2010 and has served on its board for the last two years. He wishes to continue to serve the TPCA and to increase his involvement at the state level through this position in the VPMA. Anthony Tony Sfreddo - Triple S Pest Services, Manassas, VA Tony is the President and CEO of Triple S Pest Services headquartered in Manassas, Virginia. Tony graduated from the University of Virginia in 1990, and spent his summers working for his family s pest control business. He joined the family business full time after graduating from college. Having worked in every capacity in the business, he and his brother took over the family business in Triple S has been selected for the last eight consecutive years as one of PCT Magazine s Top 100 companies. Tony has served previously on the NOVA PMA Board, is a member of both his local Chamber of Commerce and the Manassas Rotary Club, and previously served on the Prince William Boys and Girls Board of Directors. Tony currently serves on the Fauquier County Crime Commission Board as a founding member. Tony has served as a Director on the Board of the Virginia Pest Management Association since 2014 and is dedicated to improving and creating a positive public image for our industry. Troy Wolfrey - PermaTreat Pest Control, Fredericksburg, VA I started in the industry September 1998 as a route technician with PermaTreat Pest Control. After growing the route to the second largest in the company he was promoted to the sales department. I spent a total of six years as a member of the PermaTreat sales team and lead the company five of the six years. Soon after I was promoted to Branch Manager at the Culpeper location. During those five years our office achieved Branch of the Year twice along with manager of the year two other times. Then I was promoted to the Fredericksburg location. At this time the Fredericksburg location had shown little growth over the past several years and customer service was not up to expectations. We as a team brought back customer service first attitudes while also focusing on building a sales team. Over the next five years we doubled the branch size from a 3 million dollar operation to a 6 million dollar operation. In 2014, I was promoted to a Regional Manager role in which I am still today. I reside in Locust Grove, VA with my wife Tanya of 21 years and a daughter Bethanie who will be a sophomore in high school this fall. We enjoy outdoor activities along with friends and family.
