1 VENUE : DATE : All elements listed below as well are an integral part of the contract, and as such should be respected. In case of problems or proposed changes, please contact European tour manager : Laurence GODFRIN at : Phone: E.mail : godfrinlaurence@wanadoo.fr Please note that in the interest of a smooth running tour for all, ANY and ALL changes MUST BE explicitly agreed to, in writing, by one or the other of the above persons, at least 2 weeks prior to concert date. 1- STAGE The stage should be horizontal, flat and cleared. Minimum dimensions : - width : 12 meters (36 ft.) - depth : 08 meters (24 ft.) - height from floor : 01 meter (3 ft.) - height under ceiling : 07 meters (21 ft.) 2- SOUNDCHECK It is understood that artist s performance cannot happen without a soundcheck : no soundcheck : no show. Artist s crew people should have access to the stage and equipment during necessary time to operate a good qualitie soundcheck, minimum 2 hours required (once all mics are cabled and backline loaded in and set up). If, due to technical problems, or delays in transportation, or any other unexpected reason, the soundcheck could not be achieved as foreseen, its duration might be expended and left to the sole judgement of the tour manager. In this case, the opening of doors could be delayed. During the soundcheck, access to the venue is allowed to ROKIA TRAORE s band and crew party, promoter, local technicians, security staff and any person authorized by the manager and/or tour manager. 3- SOUND - LIGHTS The House electrician used to entire electrical equipments must be present from arrival of the band, throughout soundcheck and during the show. Please allow two separate sources for sound and light systems. The band travels with a F.O.H. Engineer and a Monitor s engineer. Promoter must provide a light technician. The sound and lighting systems must be set-up and running by agreed soundcheck time. All equipment will be provided by the Promoter. VERY IMPORTANT: ALL AMPLIFIERS AND WEDGES MUST BE SAME MAKE AND MODEL. 4- STAGE - BACKLINE Promoter agrees to provide: - 8 risers (6 ft.+ wide/ 3 ft. deep/ 1 ft. high) - A bass amplifier : AMPEG SVT + 8X10 cabinet The band provides their own backline (guitars, percussions, N Goni.) which includes : 1 fly-case (154cm x 30cm x 30cm : 50 Kg), 1 big case (90cm x 50cm x 37cm : 30Kg), 1 big soft bag (120cm x 30cm x 30cm : 20Kg) and guitars. 5- DRESSING ROOMS - CATERING Allow a minimum of 3 dressing rooms near stage : one for Rokia and backing vocalist, one for the other (male) band members for a total of 12 persons. The dressing rooms will be exclusively reserved

2 for the band, heated and/or ventilated, equipped with mirrors, wardrobes, chairs and tables, ashtrays, iron + ironing board, electrical sockets, and power adapters if necessary, showers, towels and toilets. The dressing rooms will be locked,with keys to be given to the tour manager. Access to the dressing rooms will be prohibited to any person not member of the band. A security person designated by promoter must be on duty, especially just before and after the show. The stage should be easily accessible from the dressing rooms. Please prepare, available from arrival time and during all day, unlimited fresh drinks and a cold buffet for 12 persons. 6 people are muslims (no pork) & 1 is vegetarian (fish OK). For example : - assortment of salads - meat, poultry, (chicken ) eggs, hummus, - cheese, yoghurts, fresh fruits, - biscuits, chocolate, candies, - bread, butter, vinaigrette, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, - hot coffee and tea, sugar, honey, lemon, cups&spoons, - mineral water, - fresh fruit juices, Coca-cola and Fanta, Gatorade - Beers, bottle of wine - plates, cutlery and napkins. Please provide to the tour manager, upon arrival of the band : - 8 white towels for the stage, - 8 small mineral water bottles for the stage. 6- MEALS Depending on load-in times, promoter will provide two hot meals including drinks, for 12 persons (please note : 6 musicians do not eat pork & 1 is vegetarian). Meals could be arranged in a nice restaurant near by venue or in a catering area at the venue, but outside the dressing rooms. Promoter will make the reservations for 12 persons. Time for lunch and dinner will be confirmed in agreement with tour management depending on arrival time of the band, soundcheck and show times. Please favour : poultry, fish, rice, vegetables. 7- HOTEL The promoter will reserve hotel rooms in a minimum 4-star hotel. The promoter will make sure that the hotel is sufficiently calm and comfortable, located if possible near the venue and restaurants. Reception desk 24/24 h. All rooms must be equipped with a bathroom, bathtub and toilets, direct telephone service and televison. Breakfast should be INCLUDED at the hotel. Please help ensure that breakfast can be served early or late, depending on transportation constraints of the band. 8- LOCAL TRANSPORTATION If the band arrives by train or plane, the promoter will organize local transportation for the artists and crew (12 persons + luggage + flight cases). Two 9-passenger vans are ideal, one with seats removed to accommodate equipment. The transportation should be available for all local transfers (to/from arrival point; hotel/venue/restaurant). Should the band arrive with its own Tour-bus, please allow a reserved parking spot with direct access to backstage at venue, and at hotel. 9- SECURITY Backstage and stage access will be strictly reserved to artists and staff. An experienced security staff in sufficient number, easily recognizable but with no uniform, will be present at the venue before audience arrival.

3 The promoter will make sure glass bottles, or any kind of potentially dangerous item, will not be allowed in the venue. The promoter will provide a first-aid kit. 10- INSURANCE The promoter is due to subscribe a general insurance for the venue and persons including the artists and staff. The promoter will be responsible for any incident linked with their work caused to the musicians and the staff. He will also be responsible in case of theft, breaking or damaging of the instruments or of artists material in the venue, or during local transportation between the venue, the airport/the train station, the hotel and the restaurants. 11- AUDIO-VIDEO RECORDINGS The band will by no means be recorded, photographed or filmed without the prior explicit written agreement of the management. Every recording will require a separate and specific contract between the artist and the producer of the recording. In any case, photographs with flash, stage access to photographers, audio and video recordings with no specific contract are NOT ALLOWED. The promoter will kindly prepare two copies of the press kit including the previews, interviews and advertisements, and will send to management subsequent reviews of the show. If the show is part of an event of a political, religious or any other particular nature, or if the promoter acts in the name of a third party (association, private company, political party, religious group ), the artist should be informed of this fact by letter, and no publicity should be initiated before receiving artist's prior written agreement. 12- MISCELLANEOUS ROKIA TRAORE concert includes no intermission and last ca. 90 minutes. The promoter will set aside a guest list (see contract) for the band's guests. Non-fulfilment of this rider could result in the cancellation of the contract without prejudice to the band. THIS RIDER MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED TO THE OFFICE OF MAD MINUTE MUSIC AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, ACCOMPANIED BY THE STAGE PLOT OF THE VENUE AND ITS SOUND+LIGHT EQUIPMENT AND TWO MAPS OF THE CITY IF POSSIBLE (WITH VENUE AND HOTEL MARKED ON THEM). The stereo system will be of high quality, 2 or 3 active voices. Delayed systems will be necessary in reverberating concert Halls.

Please provide adequate vehicle (van) for local transportation. SET-UP, REHEARSAL & SOUND CHECK Main House System and Stage System must in perfect working order at load-in time. Two local technicians knowing perfectly the sound system will be present from the beginning of the sound check to the end of the show. Artist requires at least 180 minutes in the performance space, with entire use of the stage facilities, in order to set-up, rehearse and work on sound check. Where there are support acts, the P.A. company will supply separate channels, microphones, stands and cables.
