The Cambridge- based quartet offer intelligently cra?ed and performed rock that is refreshingly new yet retains the familiar hallmarks of the best of the genre.

If more material like we have on "Coffee & Disrup-on" (from Blondie- driven punk like "Bystander" to the driving rhythms of eigh-es- vibe rocker "The Silence" this one has it all!) is in store then I welcome the opportunity to roll with this female- fronted rock ou^it wherever they may choose to roam from this point out. 16 "Saturday began with four- piece Derecho on the main stage. Singer and pianist Jo Ash s punky agtude had shades of Holly from Crimson Sky, which meant the day s bill opened with something lively enough to wake everyone up. She s quite a remarkable singer with a voice that goes from Siouxie Sioux to Kate Bush. The music was a mix of singer- songwriter style piano numbers and rockier numbers with the occasional burst of space- rock guitar."
