Is it okay the get volunteers to Tweet or hire an intern? What is my organization ation risking by exploring eploringtwitter? Today you ll learn the answers to these questions as well as how to Tweet properly, how to use lists to find followers, and you ll learn the risks associated with using Twitter.

7 5 Things Everyone Should Know about Twitter You Don t Have To Follow Everyone Who Follows You. Be Selective. Never Read Home Feed. Make Your Own Lists. Don t Be Afraid To Jump Into A Conversation. Use Hashtags. A lot. You Can Get Quality Traffic From Twitter.

9 How do I find people to follow? When you create an account, you can search for people by name or user name, import friends from other networks, or invite friends via . Once you've found your friends, follow them to start getting their updates.

19 How To Use Twitter Lists Twitter users can organize others into groups, or lists. When you click to view a list, you'll see a stream of Tweets from all the users included in that group. This article will help you get started with some lists basics. Note: you don't need to follow another user to add them to a list; if you want to read a user's Tweets but not see their messages in your main timeline every day, lists allow you to do that. Similarly, following someone else's list does not mean you follow all users in that list. Rather, you follow the list itself.
