Go Back 2 FINISH
Resist The Directions: The objective of the game is to resist the temptation just like Jesus did. Place your markers on the START square. The players roll the die and move that number on the board. The players follow the directions on the square they landed on. Two or more may share one square at a time. If they land on a space, the player draws a card and reads it out loud. (If they cannot read, someone else can read it for them). On each card is a temptation situation that the player must answer how they would resist the temptation by telling what they should do. If they answer correctly, they move ahead two. If they are not correct and do not resist temptation, they are Grounded and lose a turn next time around. The first player to FINISH wins. Continue playing to find out who comes in second, third, and fourth place.
You accidentally break your neighbor s window and no one is home. All of your friends want to watch a movie that you are not allowed to see. Your parents are not home and won t be for hours. A new kid in your class has really thick glasses. Everyone is making fun of him. You forgot to study your spelling test and you can easily see the paper of the person next to you. You are playing soccer and the referee isn t looking at the moment. You can easily trip the player from the other team so he cannot score a point. Your mom just made cookies and they are cooling on the counter. She said you couldn t have any before dinner and she just left the kitchen. Your teacher wrote a letter to your parents about your bad behavior in class. She gives you the letter to take home. Your best friend didn t invite you to their party. Your feelings were hurt. Your friends write on the bathroom walls at school and ask you to do it too. You find some money and there is no one around.
The cashier doesn t charge you for some things that you are buying. Your little brother is annoying you. He is always bugging you all the time. You are supposed to do your chores before you go out to play. Your parents are at work and your friends come over and want you to play soccer. You are supposed to clean your room before watching TV. Your parents are at work and there is a movie on that you want to see. One of your friends is saying mean things about someone who isn t there. Your parents tell you to do something that you do not want to do. You are not allowed to play with your sister s X-Box without her permission. Your sister isn t home and you want to play with it. Your mom told you to feed the dog and you are in a hurry. Your parents told you to not play a certain video game. You are at your friend s house and they want to play that video game. Your parents told you to stay away from the construction site. Your friends want to play there.
You made a bad grade on a test and you are supposed to show it to your parents and get their signature. Your brother told you to not borrow anything without asking him. He s not home and you want to listen to his new CD. You forgot to read a book for class and a report is due tomorrow. You go online and find a report on that story. You go to a party and find out that there are no chaperones. Your parents do not allow you to go to parties without chaperones. Your friend gets some cigarettes and wants you to smoke with them. Your mom made a special dessert for dinner tonight because you are having company. It s your favorite and you are dying to have some and your mom told everyone to leave it alone until dinner. You are not supposed to drink or eat in your family room. Your friend wants to watch TV and drink a coke in the family room. Your friend says something mean about you. 9 You accidentally find the answers to tomorrow s test at school. You are not allowed to ride in a car with a teenager driving. You are walking home from school and your friend who is a teenager stops their car and offers you a ride. Your friend forgot to do their homework and wants to copy yours. You are dying to have another piece of pizza and your friend is so busy dancing that they are not eating theirs. You are not allowed to have friends over when your parents are not home. Your parents went to see a movie and your friend wants to come over. You go to make a phone call and pick up the phone. You hear your brother talking to his girlfriend.
