7 getmoresleep Sleep is the most necessary yet highly underrated need of women today. Most of us have hard deadlines for our mornings whether it is getting the kids to school, arriving at work on time or feeding a hungry baby. The problem is that we don't adjust our bedtimes to make sure we get enough sleep in before we have to get up. What prevents you from going to bed in time to get 7-8 hours of sleep? Be honest with yourself and list the reasons here (ex: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram; watching the news or movies; cleaning the house, etc.): _ Now we are going to list simple changes you can make to get more sleep. You want to choose a positive behavior that will enable you to get to bed earlier and attach the new behavior to a task you are already regularly doing. Examples: After dinner I will choose my pajamas for the night. After the kids' bath I will turn off my phone. After the kids are in bed I will read one chapter in my current book. List your simple steps on the next page.

9 superchargeyourmorning Your mornings determine the rest of your day so why not create a plan for a marvelous morning? The first step is to wake up at least 30 minutes before the rest of your family and spend time doing something you enjoy. You could journal, do art work, read, listen to worship music, take a walk or work on a novel you want to write. In order to successfully change your mornings you will need to prepare the night before so that you can start your morning fun as soon as you get out of bed. What would you love to spend 30 minutes doing tomorrow morning (and don't say sleep longer haha!). Write it here: _ How can you prepare tonight to make that happen? (ex: choose my clothes for tomorrow, make the kid's lunches, set my paint set out on my desk, place my workout clothes by my bed.) _ Write your new before bed, happy morning habits on the following page. Examples: After dinner I will set out my art supplies for the morning. After I get out of bed I will put on my workout clothes. After I pour my coffee I will open my Bible and journal.

11 createyourgozone A great way to make your mornings run more smoothly is to create a Go Zone where you place all of the items you need for the next day. This can be an entry way table, a box, a basket or a shelf. Use what you have available. Make a list of all of the items you and your family need before leaving the house (ex: backpacks, lunch, keys, shoes, purse). Now create a space where you can group these items for a speedy departure tomorrow morning.
12 manageyourmeals A key component in staying organized is creating a meal plan each week. Planning doesn't have to be complicated. To start take a look in your pantry, fridge and freezer and write down 3-5 meals you could make for dinner this week: If you have time write any extra ingredients you will need on your grocery list. 14 planyourweek One essential component of leading an organized life is planning your week. Schedule a time on your calendar for a weekly planning time. This could be Saturday morning or Sunday evening whatever works best for you. During your planning time: 1. Check your calendar for appointments, practices and other nonnegotiable time commitments. 2. Plan your errands and chores such as making a grocery list, grocery shopping and menu planning. 3. Write down your top 3-5 essential goals for this week. I like to schedule my week around my most important priorities. You can read more about that here. I have included some simple forms in this eplanner to help you get started. You can find more planning help here.

21 additionalplanners On the following pages you will find several planners to help you stay organized. 30 Day Declutter Calendar This 30 day calendar gives you one short task each day to keep clutter at bay. 30 Day Task Calendar (blank) Use this blank Task Calendar to plan your own organization tasks for the next 30 days. 10 Minute Task List Grab this list when you have a few minutes and you aren't sure what to do. One Month Planner Use this planner as a monthly calendar or to help you schedule on-going monthly routines. For example you can add photo organization on the 15 th, paycheck planner on your paydays, or other tasks you need to be reminded of. Ideally you should set alerts on your phone but this paper planner can be added to your planning binder as well. One Year Planner Use this planner to see birthdays at a glance, to plan seasonal shopping (swimsuits in April before the best ones are gone, etc.), and to plan spending for the year.
